Problem is, if we are brought by them everything is fair game from a business point of view. Yes we are a "brand" in Football but Red Bull are a far bigger name with a bigger worldwide reach. I just hope they are ok with just having Red Bull as the kit sponsor... doubt it though. This is if it is even true! Sceptical.

Wishful thinking I say

Like my previous post it would be invest and build gradually with year on year progress.

I would welcome this obviously, but I would also not want us to spend £250m quickly on mercenaries. I like the young and hungry approach but with a bit more of a budget! I want to see progress year on year and not just do a Man City and spunk shed loads to challenge within a season. Something in the Dortmund mould would be good, spend some money on young talent, nurture them, watch them improve and build up to success. This will then get us more respect from the press and the football community than doing a Man City and have everything that follows seem hollow. Before you say something like 'I don't care how we look to other teams etc' you can't say when Man City or Chelsea win something there is less excitement... A feeling of inevitability about it, something that won't be there if Liverpool win the league or Everton get CL. Not saying that I wouldn't be over the moon with us winning things, I just want us to do it the sensible way that will make it even more sweeter and enjoyable.... IMO of course. UTV

Got Nimes Olympique promoted to Ligue 1 as champions... was sitting 4th half way through my first season in the top flight. Villa then offered me job as manager... they are a crap Championship team atm... So I jumped ship to re-build my beloved Villa... lost my first 6 games in a row. Can't by a win, players all old and crap. Going to take a lot to sort this out. Keep your fingers crossed! Bit of an update... Finished mid table in the championship, not bad considering the mess I walked into. Second season I signed young players with big potential (like I did with Nimes) got promoted as champions! First season in the prem I cleared all deadwood (PL would be proud!) and signed more young players with big potential (part of my promise to the board), no player over the age of 26 in my entire squad. Finished 2nd 2 points behind Man City, only had to win my last 2 games to win the league, Man Utd destroyed me 4-0, then drew with Watford away (who were already relegated). Currently half way through my second season in the prem, mid table, out of the CL.... not looking too good Play a 4-1-2-2-1 all with support on (even striker who is a false 9)... Keep possession loads and have loads of shots, but only get like 25% on target, frustrated. Go from winning 5-0 to losing 1-0 with them only needing one shot on target Another update... although getting knocked out of the CL was depressing I went on to win the League Cup but finished 9th. Next season I won the Euro Cup and finished 6th. Just started my preseason, 6 of my players are wanted by barca, man city etc. Keep bidding over £30m for each but they are all wonderkids and I want to mount a title challenge so they can do one!! Will be hard to keep them if I don't finish top 4 next season at the least. Fingers crossed! Me again... After winning the Euro Cup (mentioned above), went on to retain it and win the European Super Cup while finishing 2nd 2 points behind Arsenal. Next season I won the FA Cup and again finishing 2nd, 3 points behind Man Utd but went on to beat them in the Charity Shield Only things left to win now is the Prem and Champions League... after two 2nd place finishes, hoping to go one better this season. Also been knocked out of the CL at the Quarter Final stages twice so fingers crossed I can get that as well! What I love about this save is started from the bottom, getting sacked and working my way back up. Let's hope the build a statue of me soon if I can get the last 2 trophies! Keep you updated!

Each time I manage Villa I'm just terrible! Think I let bias get in the way of making important decisions. Do Villa get relegated ever time on this? I've had 3 saves that I've not been Villa manager and the go down by the 3rd season! Currently managing a french second division team (something about crocodiles) no money, low wages, whole first team squad over 29. Manged them for 3 seasons now, improved on positions every season. Now have no player over 25... all on free transfers and all 4-5 stars. Find a tactic that works well... but then all of a sudden can buy a win, only start winning again when I mix it up. Happens over and over, anyone else get this? EDIT: Nimes Olympique
