  1. I Googled "wipe standing or sitting" and found there were about 514 results. Quite what about 514 result means I don't know, does it mean sort of 513ish? The first three were a bodybuilding forum, a World of Warcraft forum and something called poopreport.com.
  2. I wonder if anyone else has read the other posts and thought, "Hey, there might be something in some of those other ways, I think I'll give them a try." Well done TSV, you may just have changed a few lives with this thread.
  3. I'm one of the silent majority. I like to have a long hard look at what's on today's paper. Standing. EDIT: Silent minority it seems. :|
  4. What has Redknapp or Benítez ever done to you?
  5. All right, who were the other 2 with such exquisite good taste that they too voted for Wenger? Benítez, Redknapp, Brown, Bruce, Mowbray, Shearer, even Ferguson, anybody rather than that smarmy hypocrite. I do hope he stays at l'Arse, even if the very sight of him turns my stomach.
  6. Definitely a non-hilarity warning for these two. Whatever made these Barcodes fans choose this particular song for Same tune in a very primitivehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VhONf1xfeM. Oh wait. Crucial Christo has a rival - Christ.
  7. That first one... Well, made I laugh a lot anyway.
  8. Peter Dyke  reports: That's right. About time too. Let's hit the entire Norwegian nation - where it most hurts.
  9. Looks like "The Bosun", the old git who used to present the Popeye cartoons on ATV many years ago and who at the end of the programme always used to say "Be nice to dear old Mum." Or Cap'n Birdseye.
  10. Laursen league appearances since he joined us: 2004-5 12 2005-6 1 Then MON arrived 2006-7 14 2007-8 38 2008-9 19 Question: Why did DOL pick him for only 12 games in 2004-5 and only 1 in 2005-6? And why did MON pick him for only 14 games in 2006-7 and only 19 games in 2008-9? Because Laursen was very average? Or was it for some other reason? As for Barry: I think MON has got him playing better than ever before but every England team manager from Kevin Keegan onwards has selected Barry for England. "Very average" therefore seems a huge exaggeration.
  11. The Madrid press are going to love this, they really are. On the one hand Barcelona. Barcelona are crap. They had a cheating ref on their side. They would never have won without him. ¡Hala Madrid! Etc. In come the texts and e-mails: "We've won it 9 times, Old Money Bags Barsa only twice. They bought the ref. F*** off you gits." On the other hand the English. The English are in a ferment over the refereeing. Etc. In come the texts and e-mails: "I thought these were the ones who were always such good losers and gentlemen. Can't take their medicine it seems. Funny that. Cup of tea at 4 o'clock. The royal corgis. The Empire. Words removed." While there's still mileage in it they'll no doubt push the anti-Barça line one day and the anti-English one the next. And with a bit of luck everybody will forget Madrid 2 Barça 6. I'm sure that in ASworld and Marcatown the true winners in all this will be Real Madrid, a nice dish of chick-pea stew and demands for sovereignty over Gibraltar.
  12. I didn't want a new European champion, and I get no great enjoyment from sterling defensive performances unless they're by Villa. Now that we have a Man Utd v Barça final I couldn't give a toss who wins it. Even so, as I tripped, lumbered, pranced, hobbled, minced and strode through the stultifying sunlight, a happy little song came to mind. So I skipped instead. One song, three versions. No, it isn't: Blue is the colour, football is the game We're all together and winning is our aim So cheer us on through the sun and rain Cos Chelsea, Chelsea is our name. There was Joni Mitchell (1969), http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPwUqp_h9Vc, and my favourite version by a pre Dave Pegg and even pre Sandy Dennyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-m_xRdrfbwk. A pity there isn't a "u " in the song title. Boring? Yeah, just like Chelsea.
  13. The one I feel really sorry for is Didier Drogba. Chelsea through and through. Blue blood coursing through his veins. Loyal Chelsea man. And now he'll miss the Final. Oh wait... EDIT: Just seen heystally!'s post. Agree completely.
  14. Surely Guardiola isn't going to play Sylvinho. Is he?
  15. Drogba an utter tit. The referee shocking. Delighted Barça's consistently best player got the goal.
  16. Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Cole, Alex, Terry, Essien, Ballack, Lampard, Malouda, Anelka, Drogba. Subs: Hilario, Ivanovic, Di Santo, Mikel, Kalou, Belletti, Mancienne. Barcelona: Valdes, Alves, Abidal, Pique, Toure, Busquets, Keita, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto'o, Messi. Subs: Pinto, Caceres, Gudjohnsen, Bojan, Sylvinho, Hleb, Pedro. EDIT: CB will be Yaya Touré won't it?
  17. It's all about opinions or the way each of us see things. I'm in agreement with all of BOF's comments on and changes to BCV's original and especially: When Barry sees a gap and an opportunity to get an attack moving he can really shift like the clappers. With great long strides.
