Soloed though a Torment 7 greater rift with my wizard. Don't have the firepower to do it in the time limit just yet but being able to hang in Torment 10 isn't as far away as I'd first thought.

This is my go to wizard build, it's also quite a lazy one in that you only use one power to deal damage. The rest are to enchance damage/protect you, the skills/items work well & im able to clear a T10 level 70 solo with this one.

  2. After playing the Alpah,Beta & open Beta my view hasn't changed. The Division is bland & generic.

I sincerely hope they're holding back in terms of enemies because quite frankly the ranges of them is awful & I'm struggling to invest in bullet sponge gang bangers. I'm interested in what the end game is here, in terms of "what's there to do" to keep me playing. If it's the dark zone then I'll no doubt not bother with it.

The dark zone just has no structure, it's a mess....I've seen two game types:

1)People are s**t scared of going rogue so everyone plays like a rabbit caught in an open field (being classed as going rogue from a missplaced shot-someone walkng into your line of fire is annoying)

2)everyone goes rogue & it becomes a game of revenge kills...the ensuing chaos isn't even fun!

& every match has it's extraction zone campers.

I can understand the controller concerns (although I have no problem with the PS4 controller)

But I've never really understood those that place a lot of importance on the homescreen/dashboard for each console.

    I honestly couldn't care less :)

The controller hasn't actually cause me any issues, other than me pressing square for X.

As for the home screen/dash I don't place a huge importance on it but I do place an importance on how intuitive it is. Ease of use, finding what I want ect....I still maintain that both next generation consoles have lesser designs that those before them.

  4. I've had a Xbox one since release day & I picked up a ps4 the weekend. The dash/home screen on the ps4, for me is not a patch on Xbox ones...& the controller makes me want to hurt myself. But I guess it comes down to getting use to it.

  5. Public games are garbage, they're full of people using hacked gear. I haven't played or opened a public game in ages (learnt my lesson doing that once) but once you see someone with modded gear you will never see anything even close to that good. 3 sockets with every item & all gems at level 150....make me sad that you can even buy this stuff off eBay!

Did a solo run with monk torment 10 level 77 yesterday,  used thr inna's mystic ally build. So awesome

  6. I'm still beasting this on Xbox one, working towards some builds I have in mind. I'm re rolling most of my ancient stuff/items right now, trying to squeeze the smallest amount I can out of the builds.

if you want some high end ,end game builds look at icy-veins.com this is my witch doctor build and & is prob my fav right now

    http://www.icy-veins.com/d3/witch-doctor-carnevil-poison-build-with-zunimassas-haunt-patch-2-4

ive played Diablo since the second on PC & always picked the barbarian/paladin(crusader) but I have to say I'm loving not using the "big guys" right now....I'm destroying greater rifts on level t10/75 but getting to that point where I need a crew to get higher.

The pvp doesn't look interesting enough for me (I think it will turn into a massive gank zone) and ubisoft open worlds have become so dull & boring. I'll probably give this one a miss.

All you'll see in the dark zone is people camping the extraction locations & then the game turns into a revenge fest.

Im so glad I didn't buy it off the dash last week.

I have a spare beta code for The Division on Xbox which starts tomorrow.

Games so bland & generic...I was worried when this got push back (I know someone in the industry who said what he played was not very good ala watch dogs also made by Ubisoft) & my fears were right.

The firing mechanics are pretty decent but the world is just so bland, if it was by a small developer then fine but for me....it was boring as hell. Not the be all but it also looks horrible.

Local Leader in Charisma. I'm building towards it now so I'm not entirely sure how it works but it seems you need to use some of your population as mules in order to set up supply lines between settlements.

I posted a link above that gives you an idea  :)

  10. Had a decent morning scavenging:

found the alien blaster/alien comic for the blaster perk/mini gun with all the best mods/another T-60 power armor/Armor pieces for strong (prefer Codsworth though)

  11. Think I'm about 30 hours in & may take a break for a few days. Finding myself just whizzing through missions now & not really scavaging...as great as it is its doesn't really feel like I'm getting anywhere.

  12. I'm so happy I stuck with it, I can't put the bloody thing down once I get settled. I still haven't built a huge amount at sanctuary but I'm starting to do a little bit here & there when I go back to do some crafting/dumping stuff.

i just did a "clear the ghouls" mission & found a the T-51 suit (minus the legs) but I'm working on the base suit first. One of those huge bots was waiting for me outside so I hit him with the mini nuke....beautiful

It is pretty funny how outraged you are about it Stef, DICE picked up the franchise when the former devs had gone.

They've made a good, fun game which from what I've seen is a pretty good copy of the former games minus a couple of modes (albeit popular ones) and a single player - something DICE have never been great at, apart from bad company 2.

But the good parts are the spectacular graphics, 60fps, amazing sound and a real authentic feel.

The DLC hasn't been announced, and some people will be put off by a 40 quid game and a 40 quid premium, but the game is still there.

Fair do's it won't last for 2 years, but you never know.

For me, it will go down as Titan fall dos. Once the novelty wears off the community will soon drop off, I actually think it's a bit of a mess & also light on content all at the same time.

like the above article every game mode outside the big two are just parts of those game modes. I can't even say it plays well, it just doesn't feel cohesive when I'm playing.

Well, I did say if the beta showcased the best of this game, so if I didn't enjoy the so-called best of the game, why would I give the rest of it a chance? I'll wait for some reviews to come out and then base my decision on whether or not to buy on that.

As for being frustrating, perhaps part of it is just personal to me, but I found myself dying too often, the shooting mechanics weren't anything special and my favourite bits (the ship sections) were too infrequent and short-lived when you ever did manage to get to an icon before someone else. Not to mention the controls were a pain in the arse and you only really flew around a small map and other than shooting a few other fighters out of the sky, there wasn't much to it.

Admittedly I'm not much of an FPS multiplayer kind of guy though, so it's not really aimed at me. I'd much rather a new Rogue Squadron game. As I mentioned a few weeks back, a purely ship-based Star Wars game with online capabilities would be right up my alley. This game is just another boring shooter with a thin veneer of Star Wars nostalgia and fantasy tacked on; one which wore off pretty quickly for me.

I'm with you on FPS, basically every match is.....get shot in the back/shoot someone in the back....rinse & repeat, have played halo at a competitive level but the CoD's of this works just aren't my thing. Much prefer squad games like mass effect 3 ect

im in two minds if I'm getting it myself, fallout 4 is still fresh & halo when I do play some MP.
