Dwight Gayle & Berbatov...I'm just gonna leave that there.
-
My only concern is.....is he up for it? 31, coming to the closing stages of his career. Going to be picking up 100k a week for 1 more season, I'm not worried about his ability. Seen enough of him to know when he's at it he's unplayable....but has he got the stones or the willingness to dig in & fight when we need it.
I hope he sees if he can get back to a good level how much we'd improve in the final third. But all I can imagine him thinking is "I don't need this move": it all comes downs to if he still has the desire to play. Sit on his arse picked up 100k or potentially be scrapping it out at the bottom end of the prem (that's not to be negative more what we prob is thinking)

Solid signing, especially for the fee reported.
Got to be honest, a back 4 of Hutton, Richards, Lescott and Amavi is pretty decent defensively imo.
Think that back 4 would be very good, Lescott brings some much needed PL experienced. Think he'd of jumped at the chance knowing he could partner Richards.

Guy who runs the QPR supporters trust tweeted Austins off to Man U
@RobertQPRST: Reliably informed that Charlie Austin will undergo his Man Utd medical tonight. Fee around £15 million + add ons. I wish him all the best.
Just passing on what I saw with people mentioning him.
-
No doubt that Andrea has it the ground running. Looks suited to the prem right away.

I would love Gomis but just can't see him leaving Swansea for us. Saying they didn't he almost leave for some random club a few weeks ago? Also reports of a 7m release fee
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bafetimbi-gomis-7m-release-clause-9956307
Obviously he could reject a move but if we meet 7m clause.....

Quite a few positives. Richards/Hutton/Gana/Sanchez/Sinclair all played well....Sanchez first half was excellent, Gestede is a constant nousence but he is very limited, seems to take him forever to get on the turn.
Just lacked a bit of invention once they sat back for the draw.
-
Sunderland allowing us to have the ball in midfield, need to make more penetrating runs. They'll let us pass it side ways all day.
-
Richards going his impression of Sol Campbell again.
-
Quite tidy in midfield. Sanchez looks good!
-
Big let off there. Good penalty

Completes our defence, IMO. We aren't going to get an Ottemendi type are we, even players like that who in my opinion aren't of the elite level of day 10 years back are going for ridiculous money.
We already have potential in Okore, a forgotten man by many. There isn't a better move we could make IMO.
Hope it happens.
Still think we lack a rightback but I think he does compliment Richards very well.

According to Alan Nixon we have identified a foreign keeper that we want to buy.
Saw that to but very vague. We want a foreign keep but no name....
-
Payed zero attention to this but the reviews for it......will be picking it uo next Tuesday

Hes a forwardWhat type of CM is Gervinho? Can't really remember.

Andre certainly has hit the ground running

Sherwood doesn't rate SInclair yet signed him? What's the next story - he had no say in making the loan agreement permanent?
I don't think Sherwood particularly rates Sinclair, think he's onlyWas very poor last night, how Sinclair got hooked off instead of him left me baffled.
I'm not writing him off, but he needs to improve quickly or he's going to get lost in the shuffle with Gil, Grealish and Adama to come in.
Playing now due to injuries else where. Will soon find himself on the bench I think.
No he didn't. It was set that we stay up the deal becomes permanent, even Sherwood said at a press conference he had no idea that deal was already set.

Two specialist defenders in the side no counting Richardson and you are asking for trouble. All NC are doing is pumping high balls into our half. We need to calm down and retain the ball.
It was one of the 'specialists' that handed them the first goal.
Regardless....this is a poor selection.
-
Two recognised defenders on the pitch...Naive
-
The Italian league is actually quite poor now, I mean Juve r obviously excellent but the rest of the league isn't all that now. The lure of prem is huge in terms of exposure/money so possible the player wants out.Why are Roma looking to offload? He looks a decent player, still young, good scoring ratio last season and hasn't cost them too much??
-
An extremely defensive midfielder at that. Bought at the time to play centre half...like Richards.
Southgate was a midfielder.
He's a centre half. Not a rightback.
Because that is my opinion.
Seriously...Richards isn't going to play rightback. Why people continually post it I don't know.
Amavi - Lescott - Okore - RichardsLike Richards.
That would be a top defence
(I'm not keen on Richards at centre back)
Richards has been bought, told, does & will play centre half. He is no longer a rightback, that is his role for villa.

If I knew that this didn't have a save option like witcher I wouldn't of bothered. Ugh
