    Could you type some people? Im not one of them,not yet. A week ago we did not start playing the same football we saw from January onwards and continue to the start of the new season.I was expecting to see something other than the relegation football the villa played the entire second half of last season. There has always been a long supply of prospective new managers.

    Dont blame the defense,you need a midfield to slow down the attacks and give the defenders a chance.At the end of the day if your team spends more time having to defend you concede more goals and look useless.

    I think mean is able to do a job in the premiership but i want to see him change formations.We were doing alright until January then everything went bad and it hasnt changed this season.Randy would come to an agreement with mon i think,a kind of best interests of both parties type thing.Didnt randy fire his head coach and gm at the cleveland browns?

    Ive posted this before,its not about the one game its about the same system and same style of play since January.I wanted to see a fresh start this season but all we got was the same ending.

    Ive never criticised MON until today im really dissapointed in the tactics he continues to use.

    I dont know why today,but im totally at a loss to understand how a manager can play the same system since January and consider it to be successfull given the results.Im shocked to go into a new season and find the same system and the same result im really shocked.I want MON to stay but i need to see some changes in playing style to.I dont want Villa to win every match(although it would be nice)i just want to see some competitive football.

    This isnt about one game not for me anyway.This is about the same football being played since January,relegation football.nothing has changed since then and im worried.

    Great Post This is the first time ive felt like this to,and it hurts.I like MON i like Randy Lerner but i love ASTON VILLA.

    I didnt expect to stuff wigan but i did expect a competitive game.The back four struggled,could this be because the midfield two were not able to offer any support,if we are so weak in the middle would it have been wise for MON to play three in there?I have nothing against Friedel but i want to see more of Guzan.Petrov struggled because he was the onlyone in midfield with experience and yes Young tried to do to much because we have no other threat.Yes the front two got scraps,Heskey only had one good chance and he drove it wide.I would love to see a Captain with drive at Villapark.

    How many of you really thought Delph would start?I didnt.Two in the middle and one straight from league one?MON could have helped Delph by using a 451 and given the kid some support because he was out of his depth otherwise.

    I cant blame Young,at the end of the day MON's system involves getting the ball to young,i know it you know and every team in the prem.knows it.We have to play 451 and have two wide threats.

    Yoy dont see it do you?This is not over reaction,this is a trend that started last January.Poor performances equal zero points equals relegation.THAT LEADS TO BANKRUPTCY.

    Then i ask you this?Why are they bigger,why stronger,why faster,technically superior and a better team?No shame in losing,the shame is in not playing football. So your saying The wigan organisation from top to bottom is better than Villas?Who is responsible for the side on the pitch today?

    You obviously missed the second half of last season.We have not won more than for games since january.You are right anything can happen,teams getting relegated can happen.

    If this form continues as it has since last january we are in trouble.You cant win games with two in the middle and one of those is making his debut in the Prem.Delph could have had an easier time if mon had played the 4 5 1.As it was he had nowhere to hide,although he did a good job of being invisisble.Its going to be a long season with no joy.And lets look forward to the Europa league so we can treat that competition as nothing more than a distraction to our push for glory and top four football,lol.

    You know all that based on 45 minutes of football? Impressive. You're in the wrong job. And you see something completely different then?

    Because he is an exceptional talent who is going to be a big, big player for us. That's why. He has obviously came here and impressed - he slotted in just fine against Fiorentina. He has played 45 mins of Premiership football. Give him a chance. Hes out of his depth,he is getting a chance and he aint taking it.
