    2-0, should be 4-1, or 4-2. Bent has checked out of this game and had two great chances. I really don't think he wants to be at Villa anymore. I'll say 5-0 Spurs. (yes, I'm a pessimist, but I have no reason to think otherwise)

    I get to watch 5-10 matches a year in the States. And I get the pleasure of watching my 4th game with this S*** formation. At least pretend like you want to win.

    So, how do we change this line-up after they score? Because this 5-3-2 can't get the ball into their half, let alone threaten their goal. They look extremely likely to score before half-time. So, who stays and who goes when they get a goal?

    Anyone having problems viewing replays on the rugbyworldcup website? I get that I have to wait 72 hours to watch full replays, but it doesn't seem to matter. I sent an email, no response. Can't even watch the highlights.

    Pretty good video talking about the crash. WARNING, it does show the crash itself, and identifies Wheldon's car. It's pretty far away, but I thought I'd give a heads up. I don't know anything about racing, but obviously it's terrible to see something like this happen. Poor guy had two very young sons. Tragedy all around. Link

    Typical Villa lineup, predictable result. With no Makoun, and no Gabby, we played for the draw. There should have been some halftime changes. McAllister knew they were going to sit back, yet he kept two defensive minded midfielders who lacked any creativity in attack. Not to blame Petrov and NRC, I thought they did exactly what they needed to do, and Stoke's attack (if there was one) was forced wide. No idea why Pires or Makoun didn't come into the game. You have to go down fighting. Albrighton looked lively, Gabby came in too late, Bent MotM in boring match.

    They should give an award to the defender with the lowest passing percentage and call it "The Dunnie"

    The problem with our wing play is they never want to take on any defenders. Downing finally gave it a go and managed to complete a great run, and earn us a corner. Ash seems to be looking inside, I'd love to see him challenge the wilkinson a little more. What will probably happen is Walker will start making more runs in the second half. Which can be good or bad depending on if anyone wants to cover him on the counter.

    Bad position early. I don't know why everyone thought we'd win so easily. We win two games in a row and suddenly we're in a title run... We're an average team, with the worst service coming from the defense in the league. That said, 2-1 Villa

    This team is an abortion. I wouldn't bet on us bouncing right back up if we go to the championship. Whether it was a penalty or not, we're being taught a lesson by a bunch of reserves ffs.

    The return of the long ball. No threat of attack in the last 20 minutes. If we don't come out of the gates flying then I think we're losing 2-0. Dunne and Collins are useless distributors. They kill every possession we get (before it gets started!)

    Walker is a huge liability today. Haven't seen him make a decent pass in the second half and always forgets what he's doing (not getting back, stops marking, quits on the play). I'm starting to wonder if we're right where we should be in the table. Disgusting.

    Heskey's fault. I don't care how great Milner was, we have mid table talent, and are now in the relegation. I don't care how many French players Houllier brings in. He sucks and so does the French National Team. Strap yourselves in boys, we're going down. No man of the match, all rubbish.

    Barely looked like getting a result with 11, I doubt we'll get a point with 10. 2-0 Sunderland now. Sell Heskey, dump Houllier.

    Felt like we deserved a point. Spurs looked tired and we **** gifted them a goal. Oh well... Not blaming Luke Young for the first goal, but his anticipation was poor. I know elderly women who can jump higher than that.

    I'm looking forward to a manager who will actually make some substitutions, instead of letting the starters wear themselves out for 90 minutes. If Heskey for Gabby is the most creative thing you can think of to win a game you have no business managing in the Prem. I want a *&%$%^& midfield sub sometime during the game. Pretend you want to win the game, just once.

    Anyone know if Houllier will actually make a midfield substitution? Seems like its been ages...
