    Can someone post the pictures up from the OS? Have no idea how to do it cos there's not the right click option. I'm a complete computer noob! Only bring it up though because I want the picture of Carew, 3rd from the bottom, arms wide open and eyes closed in front of the Villa faithful.

    I've heard numerous pundits say John Carew is unplayable when he's on top form, and today just proved that! He was absolute class, world class in fact. His hold up play, his touch, his positioning for his 1st 2 goals. Fantastic!! And Ashley too, great second half performance. Bring on Wembley!

Without any specifics, do you see/hope the Browns having a busy weekend with the free agency market opening tomorrow? I'd think with Holmgren coming in he'll be wanting to put his stamp on the team quickly. Thank you for time and many happy returns once again.

    Embarassed to read some of these posts, especially after the General has gone out of his way to respond and to look into the issues. I've got little to no chance of getting a ticket for Wembley but i'll wait, cross my fingers and hope for a huge stroke of luck. Yet those who will DEFINITELY be getting one do nothing but bitch and moan at a man who has nothing but class and integrity. Shameful. I really hope this doesn't sour your dedication to the Villa cause Gen. And on a lighter note, who's your pick for the Superbowl next week?

    Got faith in our players but I agree, think we're gonna get badly over-run in midfield. Be happier with Sidwell next to Petrov with Milner the more advanced of a 3 man midfield, Downing-Gabby-Young as the front 3. But, fingers crossed and goodluck to the boys!

    General, speaking of the NFL, do you have any predictions for the upcoming season; Superbowl winners, surprise team of the year and rookie of the year? My own feeling is if Brady can stay healthy the Pats will win it, otherwise the Steelers to repeat. Surprise team, Bengals. Rookie is tough but i'd go with either Sanchez or surprisingly Percy Harvin.

    If we're gonna revert to a 5 man midfield in the league, I think looking at the 3 CM's tonight, Reo-Coker should be the one drafted in to play next to Petrov and Delph.

    General, just wanted to echo what someone said earlier, about you giving a response as a fan first and foremost. And also giving a measured response after nearly 2 pages of tirades bordering on abuse. I can't fault the passion people have for the club, myself included, but you would have been well within your rights to write a very pissed off response. Anyway, back into Europe next week, here's hoping for a vastly improved performance from everyone.....preferablly in a 4-5-1 :idea:

    General, I saw the latest renovation pictures on the OS earlier, and everything looks superb. There's a certain stlye and class about it all, which to me perfectly mirrors the sort of man Randy is. Please pass on my praise to him, it's looking a job very well done!

    Afternoon General. With the Draft tomorrow I was hoping to get your thoughts, as a fan, on who you would like to see the Browns and the Redskins choose in the 1st round? The rumours of the 'Skins trading up for Sanchez sounds like good business, but puts an immediate question mark over Campbell's future as the starting QB which is a shame as I think there's still alot more to come from him. Thanks General, and keep up the great work you do for the club and for the fans, most appreciated.

    I'm surprised no one has thought about another centre half. At the moment with Cuellar and Laursen out we are a bit short at the back, so i wouldn't frown on a month loan signing in that department. If not, I'd just be quite happy with a striker and a versatile type player, eg. N'Zogbia.

People say xmas is a time to say what they're feeling,etc, so excuse me for being a wee bit sentimental but thank you! Thank you to everyone at the club who have made me love the Villa even more than I thought was ever possible, believe me!!
