We'll soon see. To me Buendia has mostly been operating from the left. 

Gonna be interesting to see if/how they fit together. I wouldn't disregard Buendia's playing time considerably reducing.

In my view he's too similar, in both style and stature to what we've already got. I'd prefer a different type of midfielder. Perhaps someone more like Loftus-Cheek, albeit less injury-prone. 

Unpopular opinion, but I don't think we need him and certainly not for the reported £40-50M.

Seems a really strange one. Gray, who is occupying that left wing position, has arguably been their best player this season. 

A superb signing. Will instantly improve us, more so than Coutinho. 

I see absolutely no reason why we should bend over backwards for Carney. Seems a good prospect, but he hasn't really shown anything yet at senior level.

so yeah at times it was a good thing, there was a lot of good signs from him last night, the run from the half way line was probably his best play all season, thats what we all want and he can do it

I get what you, and many others are saying, in that he tries a lot of risky passes and efforts, that if successful, may progress our play, and most likely lead to good goalscoring opportunities. However, the reality is, the success rate of these efforts leave a lot to be desired as of yet. Which simply isn't good enough for the level he's playing, and this is my big gripe.
