I believe that there is a significant percentage of the US population that believes that they have the right to instruct women what they can and can't do with their bodies. 

So it's not quite as black and white to say that 50% of the US "hate" women but large percentage don't respect them enough to allow them to make their own decisions.

Sadly people don't vote for the 'greater good' they vote for selfish reasons.

I was just as frustrated as any other fan that a) We bought him in the first place & b) It turned out as it did.

But I'm going to take that BBC article on face value and believe him that he was genuinely distressed at the injuries ended his career the way it did.

Feels nicer than hating someone I'll probably never meet for a situation I have no real idea about.

No he scored the 1st goal but Wellbeck scored the winner. Carroll also committed the foul which resulted in the free kick which got Sweden back into the game.

As @Keyblade said, Euro 2012. Capello resigned in February over John Terry being stripped of the captaincy by the FA. They appointed Woy in May and he added Carroll to the squad to "bring something different." Meaning that when we hadn't scored after 80 mins we'd get some bloody snow on it and lump it up to him. The English FA has been a disaster for my whole life.

Despite his poor performance against the Spammers I actually think Jota would suit this fixture.

Again I think we should try a Christmas Tree formation which gets Jack further forward and shields the back 4 especially away from home.
