They both got movement, quick feet which Wesley lacks.

People say Scott Hogan has great movement. Still a shit striker. Maupay looks far more like Scott Hogan than Tammy so far.

It seems Smith didn't fancy Maupay would be much cop in the PL either otherwise he would have gone for him.

Tammy also missed loads of sitters last season.

What Maupay and Tammy are good at is getting into scoring positions because of good movement, something Wesley lacks.

I'm not quite sure what Tammy has got to do with. But seeing as you brought him up, he's scored 7 goals in the same amount of appearances as Maupay has scored 2. An amazing one more goal than Wesley who'd you swap him for plus 15million :crylaugh:

Surprised people going on about Maupay. He's been wank.

Poor hold up play. Works hard. Abysmal finishing. He reminds me of Scott Hogan.

    Trade him for Wesley. Hahahahaaaaaa

He's missed 2 sitters he should have buried.

Also Joelinton doesn't look any better than Wesley despite being twice the price.

Wow I've heard about celebs like the Jenners or Chrissy Teigen getting paid $500,000 to post about a brand but 1.2 million from a sports star is just insane.

There will come a point when footballers will play only enough to create their 'brand' and then clubs won't be able to pay them enough to stay in their contracts. Imagine being able to post on instagram twice a week and make 2.4 million! Why would you play football anymore?

Like when we turned our nose up at Benitez and ended up with Houllier.

That isn't how I remember it.

I believe Lerner &  Krulak (🙄) interviewed Benitez and he said he needed/wanted 35 million a season to keep the team progressing (this was 2010.)

They said no thanks mate and gave Houllier the job. By January we were in the relegation zone (18th in the table, lowest position since 2002) so Lerner shit the bed and went and bought Bent for between 18-24 million (depending on which report you believe.) \We also bought Jean Makoun for God knows how much and bought in Kyle Walker and Michael Bradley on loan.

Looks like Rafa knew what he was talking about.

  6. I'm surprised some are predicting a pummeling for us. Haven't we got the 3rd best defensive record in the league or something like that?

Arsenal look powder puff more than usual. They have no fight, don't seem to know their jobs and certainly don't work hard for each other. Every Arsenal fan I know wants Emery gone. I think we could do 'em if Dean gets the front 6 right and we click.

& Side Show Bob plays at CB for them FFS!
