  1. Lmao apparently Spud fans are now saying they never wanted him and they've dodged a bullet haha oh how they make me laugh, jumped up idiots thinking they're going to be next big thing. You're a feeder club to the big boys, you're not different!
  2. Lerner is a shrewd business man he will sell him between 25 and 30million with clause and with a sell on clause where Villa get a % of his future fee
  3. I would be happy with John Guidetti he's an immense talent one to watch in my opinion.
  4. Look at the link, on there is this person Danny Guthrie- 30/92 (21 appearances He is in the top ten because the games he played he was accurate with his crosses and had high % of success, if Bannan was as successful as you claim surely he should be on that list. The stats you linked are self made stats not stats of that of an expert or someone unbiased, we could all make stats up and put them on a spreadsheet, lets not kid ourselves you're either a troll or a belligerent, ignorant and completely obsessed with Bannan to the point of where you are either Bannan himself or a weird fan who possibly could be a stalker and serial killer.
  5. If you think people opposing Con are trolling then seriously you must think Con is, numerous time he has said Bannan was best man on the pitch or one of best players in the squad and even said he is going to be world class. Con throws stats around that help him with his argument but then when people use stats for their argument he says they're irrelevant, this isn't going anywhere lets hope he moves on soon so he can get regular football and this farce can end.
  6. Haha Scottish Iniesta he doesn't have 1 iota of the skill or talent Iniesta has lol.
  7. Daily Star reports: Aston Villa are interested in Nurnberg's Hiroshi Kiyotake. The Japan international played in the confederations cup and has impressed in the Bundesliga where he made 31 appearances. Kiyotake, capped 18 times is under contract until 2015. Nurnberg are reluctant to loose the midfielder and would want 7.5 million. Sporting director Martin Bader said: "Such inquiries honour is, but Hiroshi is here to stay." This could be our big signing we've been waiting for! Fingers crossed.
  8. May miss out right here. Swansea are still targeting the European market, with FC Twente's Belgian international winger Nacer Chadli the latest to be linked with the Capital One Cup holders. According to Chadli's agent, Daniel Evrard, Swansea have made a bid for the 23-year-old. Source BBC Sport: Shelvey story
  9. I watch a few religiously Defiance I've started to get into it, decent enough, on Syfi on a Monday or a Tuesday I forget which since I record and watch when I'm not at work. Chicago Fire Rookie Blue Some obvious ones like How I met your mother and Big Bang Theory. One of the older ones that has ended is: 24 still one of my all time favourite shows!
  10. I've never spoken to him, he's walked in and tried to go to front of the bar to be served and people let him just because of who he is! Frustrating I don't care who you are the beer comes first lol But if/when I see him ill give him a Cardiff shirt and tell him that it's from the lads at VT
  11. Ah ok I know alot was said about that interview many believe was a lost in translation job
  12. Bret screwed himself he refused to drop the belt before going to WCW, they were the biggest threat to Vince ever, and to take the risk that your champion doesn't drop the belt? Nah I'm with Vinnie I would have done same thing and forced the match. Bret should have done the honourable thing and dropped the belt it's his job to wrestle, not to decide who should win a match, if/when wrestlers refuse to job/loose today everyone gets on their back within seconds but because its Bret people don't? I think he was one of the best technical wrestlers ever to grace the ring but doesn't stop me agreeing with Vince
  13. I thought Benteke wanted and thought he was joining arsenal?
  14. Looks like I've found the ideal place for Bannan to play next season, I'll be drafting a letter today offering them my months salary to take Bannan on their books. For one football team in Wales, it's definitely the taking part that counts more than the winning. Mainly because a win it would seem, is well out of the question... The Caerphilly Ladies Team from Wales lost their last game 43-0! But that wasn't just a bad day for the unlucky bunch, before that they were beat 36-0, before that 28-0 and again before that 26-0. The team, who are in the Welsh Premier League, have only score one goal in their last ten matches. When they played Caernarfon Town they managed to get one in the net, but they were still beat 14-1. Three years ago though the Caerphilly Ladies Team won the Welsh League Cup! Unfortunately though, those players who helped win the cup back then, all walked out to join a rival team.
  15. Haven't been around here long? They were saying that looong ago. No I'm a new member heh, I see Bannan down the Cat ill shout Con at him next time. In all seriousness I don't get what you're trying to do here Con, Bannan may try to do all the things you say but he fails! He can't drill a cross, can't float a cross, can't shoot, can't put the ball in 6yard box on corners, he's terrible, he is a championship player at best, he was given a chance to shine here he messed it up, let the little tin can piss head take valuable resources at another club. Oh and reason I called him a tin can piss head myself and lads down the pub have seen him in the Asda on queslett road buying carling on week days and then down the pub at the cat after games.
  16. I'm starting to think Con is Bannan in disguise.
  17. Some articles from official villa site, Monday morning paper talk. ClubCall: Aston Villa face a fight with Swansea to sign FC Twente forward Nacer Chadli after they dropped their interest in Wilfried Bony. The Swans were said to be closing in on a move for Bony after agreeing a fee in the region of £10million with his club Vitesse Arnhem, but finalising personal terms has proven to be more of a problem. ClubCall: Newcastle's hopes of landing Aston Villa striker Darren Bent have been hit by the uncertainty surrounding Alan Pardew's future. Bent has been told he is free to leave Villa Park this summer and Newcastle, along with Hull City, are said to be keen on securing the services of the former England international. Daily Mail: Hull City are keen on free agent Richard Dunne, to add to a side that has already welcomed defenders Maynor Figueroa and Curtis Davies. Mirror: Wolves want Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso after he was made available as part of Paul Lambert's on-going shake-up. Boss Lambert has already signed six players this summer and released Richard Dunne and Eric Lichaj. Daily Telegraph: Darren Bent remains keen on a move to Newcastle United, although he will seek reassurances manager Alan Pardew is committed to staying at the club following the controversial appointment of Joe Kinnear as director of football.
  18. Lazy journalism at its best right there lol
  19. Thorgan is at Chelsea came with his brother, we'd never get him on a permanent deal and personally id rather stay clear of loans
  20. I know Bruyne was out of our league but I think they're the type of players PL looking at if he was to go Belgian and Rits had something special about him he didn't make it at Ajax although he never played a game but he might be available on a very cheap deal
  21. Kevin De Bruyne Started at Genk before Chelsea brought him and at 23 you can assume he came thought the youth system together, played brilliantly last season whilst on loan at Weder Bremen scoring 10 goals in 33 Apps. Has amazing pace and acceleration, can score a mean free kick, drill crosses or float them, his best position is in that No. 10 position we're looking to fill. Dennis Praet Started of on Genks youth books same time as Benteke so would know each other, only a young 19 year old kid but has bags of talent and potential, was lsited in top 100 players to watch for 2013, he is that tiny pocket rocket that we could do with in the No.10 role, has vision, flair, creativity, close to the full package. This is a signing we could make, can't see why he would be out of our reach, would appreciate what we're trying to do, doesn't seem like any of the bigger European teams are going to take a punt on this kid, I think we should! Mats Rits Probably one of the lesser known players of their golden generation, Arsenal scouted him not to long ago, again plays in that No. 10 position just behind the striker, has good vision and technique, he is the youngest on this list and probably the cheapest could get him for 1/2 million maybe. Nacer Chaldi Plays for FC Twente and is someone I highly rate, only been capped few times for belgium but is an amazing prospect, I think we would take few people by surprise in getting him. I suggest you guys look him up on youtube, great talent.
  22. It's not blind faith, let me explain why, every manager who signs a player which is not well known has a team of qualified scouts behind him looking at the players and judging wether they are up to the task, so when PL makes these signings they've been scouted, discussed at length and then an approach has been made, what everyone here is getting at is that we have faith in Lambert that the players he has signed have been scouted and he knows about them, we as fans are not experts, not scouts, we leave that to the professionals but what we must do is back and support our club regardless of wether you've heard of them, I've heard of them or anyone else on this forum has! One season does not warrant someone calling a player bad, see how they perform the second season! Players who have had an amazing first season have fallen at the gates the second season and then again players who failed the first have been MVP the second. All we're saying is if you're a Villa fan, support the club, trust that the man on charge knows what he is doing! Get behind the team for Christ sake! Stop looking at the negatives and focus on the positives that we have made our signings early so team can gel sooner, young, hungry players who want to prove they are ready for the big time, not over the hill or players who are quite happy to sit on the bench all season and pick up a fat wedge! To be honest I think you're one of those fans that if we signed Ronaldo you'd moan it wasn't Messi. To be honest i'd want both. Read the rest of the post rather than last few lines, what I was trying to get across is that we have faith in the manager that he knows what he is doing, it sounds like you only want him to sign players you've heard of, is that a correct statement?
