  1. What shirt would he be wearing then? :winkold: He can wear the away shirt, i'll wear the home shirt... actually with the away shirt being an 82 replica i'll probably want both... Claret and Blue body paint? Bwahahaha!
  2. As far as i'm concerned we only need three players, A fast goalscoring striker - Defoe/Bellamy/Bent. A proper center mid, a hard bastard - Sidwell/Barton/Parker And a right back - Jagielka/Young. All the other players we will sign are just improvements on what we have. And I trust MON to make quality signings to push the current first team players out.
  3. Just because we might no be able to compete for the dogs of Europe doesn't mean we have to snoop for has beens on free transfers. We have a huge cash backing now, We don't need somebody like Fowler. He's so far past it it's untrue.
  4. Where's this bad reputation for NRC coming from? Has he done something wrong? Please tell me.
  5. Pablo - They were just examples I think Scott Parker may be, although the price would be largely inflated. I guess it all depends on whether Spam go down. If they do we can take NRC off their hands. But if they don't, like Parker, his price will be largely inflated.
  6. I cannot see anyone else who would fit the bill and be available. By fit the bill I mean be capable in that position, be able to improve (so have potential), be the right age bracket, be playing at the level, be ambitious, and who would not go to or aim for a top 3 or 4 side at this stage Does Scott Parker not fit that mould? Lassana Diara or Mathieu Flammini? I'm not disagreeing BTW, I just want to know how you can be so sure NRC would be a fantastic signing.
  7. You miss my point, I aimed it at Richard because he seems so confident of signing NRC.
  8. Of course we will need a replacement, but why not Sidwell or Barton for example?
  9. Any reason why? Aside from his current ability and overall potential ability of course.
  10. Damnit, I tried to sign the guestbook. I somehow doubt the administrator will allow it though
  11. I have no Idea. Google it, it's a disgrace. And no SB, I haven't enter the realms of his fansite for a long time
  12. Don't feel to ashamed, I signed up to a James Beattie fan site when we were in the hunt for him
  13. We managed it with Ashley young and to some extent, Petrov :winkold: Tis true and that instils some confidence. However, we have lost out on many occasion before to teams like Everton (Lescott, Beattie), Newcastle (Milner, Parker???), Spurs (Robinson and O'leary's other favourites) etc. the teams we should be competing comfortably with. We will see All DOL's men, IMO this will not happen with MON and Lerner, we've got the pulling power again :winkold:
  14. We managed it with Ashley young and to some extent, Petrov :winkold:
  15. Ahhh, I miss the days of being linked with greats such as Andy O'Brien. :winkold:
  16. The fickle fans are the ones who want to avoid a takeover because of the "hassle". It's people that give HDE the confidence to continue. I'm so used to being cynical about Villa, and it's starting to creep into my mind again, but I have the voice of VT which boosts my confidence again I just want it to end.
  17. I'll have you know i've been here 2 years mate
  18. I thought it was because they wanted him to take over, but it isn't even RL. which confused me.
  19. Indeed it is, and i agree DDID, lots of eggs, on lots of faces. Swines.
  20. God sake, telegraph have written an article stating that Doug probably isn't ready to quit just yet
