  1. I'll sing 'We want Ellis Out' till my lungs dry up, but I cirtainly wont do it alone. I'll start it at the Everton game and see how many join in........
  2. Not only do I think he will play for us again, I think he will score for us again. As for his future, who knows? The talent is there, but the attitude is not. I hope for his sake he grows up...... Good luck Carlton Cole.
  3. We're at home. We're expected to lose. Why not go out and give them all we've got?
  4. Today I'd go for 4-4-2. I'd like to see us take it to Arsenal even if we do risk a spanking. Bolton are the only team you've listed that play a true 4-5-1. Man U play more of a chelsea style 4-3-3 and Liverpool only played the way they did through lack of strikers. Moore has to start, along with Angel. Say what you will about missed penalties and the like, he scored on wednesday and played well to boot.
  5. War of the Worlds for me. I refuse to look forward to star wars epIII in the hope that I'll be suprised.....
  6. I couldn't watch the Oldham game. I sat in the next room listening to the commentary while my dad, and mum, cheered them on for me. If you could do me a copy of that video I would be eternaly gratefull. I'll PM you tommorow Ligs. Great profile pic by the way, another of my childhood heroes....... Up The Villa.
  7. These days my memory is blurred and I remember very little. But we've had nothing since that can match the feeling that that title chase gave me. My first game was that season too. Stood in the Holte (Left side) with a friend of the family (Cheers Pete!) and watched Yorke bang a couple past Sheffield Wednesday. Almost 12 years to the day...... I'm still proud to support this club to the death and I'll follow them till the end of the earth. No matter what......
  8. It was my first season as a 'proper' Villa fan you know. In other words, the first time I realy gave a shit whether we won or not. I was only 11/12, I also remember Staunton scoring direct from a corner, that must be my imagination right? We pretty much bought out Liverpool's best players and had a good crack at the title, who said Ellis had no ambition????
  9. Still so many good memories from that season. Dalians one man special againsts the dons, Deano's 35 yard volley over the Ipswich keepers head. I remember one game in paricular, believe it was Everton. We were 1-0 down at half time with Bozzie pulling off a few decent stops. We were 4 points behind United at the time and we needed to win to keep the pressure on. 2nd half we ripped them to pieces. First Deano wth a simple 6 yard header before Garry Parker (Legend!) put us ahead from the spot. In the dying minutes of the match Richardson* released Houghton with a wonderful through ball which he cooly chipped over the keeper. 3-1. Happy days. How I long for them again...... *Was it Richardsons ball, anyone remember?
  10. I'd forgot about that. Thanks Ligs .
  11. Big Fat Ron's claret and blue army! It all went tits up when we got tonked 3-0 by Blackburn and Dalian missed that sitter (didn't he hit it off the post?). I was sure we were gonna win the title up until that game.......
  12. Malbranque. He's not having a good season, but neither had McCann when we snapped him up and Solano was hardly pulling up trees. Steed has talent, oodles and oodles of it. Now would be the pefect time for a cheeky bid of I dunno, say, £6m? Oh shit forgot, we need 3 players for that amount
  13. Being Australian, Oz should know all about that!
  14. I thought that was obvious. I didn't say you where refering to me, my statement was made in general. I just wanted to make myself clear thats all, nothing personal with you. Could it be you are trying to cause an argument? Typical Aussie
  15. For the record, my opinion is based on all sorts of things, not just one game.
  16. I know this 'Poll' is already up on the front page, but I thought I'd do an alternative for the message board. 4th to 12th, where will we end up?
  17. I'll have some of what your on Blandy  On Topic - Not sure, but my gut instinct says yes, so thats my vote.
  18. Its worth lisening to if you like/liked indie. The 80's gave us a lot of great bands. What do you listen to at the moment?
  19. Another band Ive been listening to recently (as you can tell by my avatar). They never realy broke the charts, but they have a massive cult following. I'd give them a 9/10, love the tunes love the lyrics. Interested in your opinions :?:
  20. After marrying a younger woman, a middle-aged man finds that no matter what he does in the sack, she never achieves orgasm. So he visits his doctor for advice. "Maybe fantasy is the solution," says the doctor. "Why not hire a strapping young man and, while you two are making love, have him wave a towel over you?" The doctor smiles. "Make sure he's totally naked - that way your wife can fantasise her way to a full-blown orgasm." Optimistic, he returns home and hires a handsome young escort. But it's no use: even when the stud stands naked, waving the towel, the wife remains unsatisfied. Perplexed, the man returns to his doctor. "Try reversing it for a while," says the quack. "Have the young man make love to your wife and you wave the towel over them." And so he returns home to try again - this time, waving the towel as the same escort pumps away enthusiastically. Soon, the wife has an enormous, screaming orgasm. Smiling, the husband drops the towel and taps the young man on the shoulder. "You see?" he shouts triumphantly....... "That's how you wave a bloody towel."
  21. If I was the chairman then yes. Ellis? Probably not.
