Andriy Shevchenko? Completely unrealistic? I'm not sure he'll stay at Chelsea regardless of what happens with Mourinho. Will he want to be viewed as a faliure in the premier league or would he take a small step backwards to try and prove himself? Would there be better clubs interested (Arsenal, Liverpool?)? He'll probably just go back to Milan. Nice to dream though eh.

Although I would add I don't think there's a cat in hells chance of Laursen moving on. A more likely scenario is Olly going, a top class player coming in and Cahill/Ridgewell being backup.

General, regardless of 'procedure', do you not think we as a member of the FA Premier Legaue have a moral duty to stand up for our fellow members, even if that means a change in club policy? First of all it's Pedersen, actually Gamst Pedersen. Show some respect for people's names now should we? Also, our keeper is named Sørensen... Sorensen in English, not Sorenson! I think he is much like Barry. They both have equal amounts of strengths and weaknesses. MGP has a great foot we all know that, but he is terrible in defense. Barry is more complete, without any real strengths. Solid players, but very much alike. None of them could skin a player, both could score 5 open play goals a season, so why invest in something we already got. Sure he would give us some great goals from set-pieces but it would not do any good with Gareth. Even though Barry is playing center mid, and has been since McCann was dropped?

Anybody care to suggest a left winger we could go after?

I think with his injury history and age he's a bit of a gamble, one I'd be willing to take.
