  1. Savo Milosevic Spitting at his own fans away to Blackburn.

Jllyod Samuel Just a poor player.

Scott Carson Just an average keeper when we needed better.

Savo spat at the fans? I didn't know that. I wouldn't count that as being booed for a bad performance though.

Can't recall Jlloyd being booed every time he touched the ball, might be wrong.

Don't think Carson was either. In fact IIRC, we were really good to him. I remember we sang 'Carson for England' quite often. After his England blunder when he was getting 'There's only one Frank Carson' from the opposing fans, we still sang his name.

I'm not saying you're wrong by the way, but I've been going up VP for 16 years, season ticket holder for the last 5 and it was the first time I'd experienced an indvidual being booed for his performance on the pitch and it was terrible, I hated it.

  2. I, for one, don't earn very much, but I do okay. Probably enough to warrant somebody calling me 'a silly sausage'.

My Grandad however, he had a pretty succesful career. He's retired now, but when he was working I would phone him daily and call him a word removed. He couldn't say anything.

  3. But on the flip side, Dunne was a disgrace when he walked away when he was partly at fault as well. I don't see why he gets free passes. I do despise that fat drunken Irish idiot more than Warnock. When he makes a mistakes it's like he doesn't give a shit attitude.

I've heard many footballers say they don't want an arm around them they've scored an own goal, they just want to be left alone for a second and forget about it. Dunne's got enough experience to know how he must have felt

I don't understand what you mean by him getting a free pass, because he walked away. Should he have stayed in the naughty corner with Warnock for a bit?

  4. Am i absolutely mental for thinking that last night was one of our best home performances under Eck? Controlled the play, nearly 70% possesion, no hoofing, ball kept on the deck, played to feet, created chances and should of won the game.

Apart from having a bunch of dickheads playing at the back we'd have won that game.

My only criticism of Mcleish is that he is still struggling to find a system to suite the players we have, I mean playing one winger is ridiculous, Although the fightback and spirit shown by the squad really surprised me last night.

I wouldn't say you are, although there's not much competition for better games. If I'd have left at half time though, I'd think you were whacko.

I still believe the 'McLeish plays negative football' thing to be a myth, at least for the last handful of games. Whether it's been effective or entertaining is another matter, but negative? I don't believe so.

  5. I think it's amazing that people think it's more likely their booing lifted the team rather than, I dunno, maybe a half time team talk?

It's like in Ghostbusters 2, when Louis Tully is using a proton pack on the pink slime on the Manhattan Museum of Art, it all disappears and he thinks he's the hero.

  6. Deliberate own goal

    I'm disgusted

    Are you for real?

Deliberate or not it's not the first time he tried something like this.

I'm not debating that. I think he's been diabolical the for the last few months and has made some really stupid mistakes, but the idea he put the ball in his own net deliberately is ludicrous to me, despite what we think of his performaces or attitude.

  7. I'm sorry bout villa fans at the game in cold weather pay a lot of money to watch these overpaid prima donnas to play for our great club. Not to mention how he reportedly spattered off the club last season. How else will he know he's playing poorly if his own manager keeps picking him after poor performances. Sitting there quietly makes them nervous which leads to errors.. it feels awkard watching it on tv let alone at the ground. Booing is the only way fans can show dissatisfaction.. imo it lifted the club and even our manager agreed after the game. They are grown men.. they can handle it. He was shit and now he knows not play like that again.

So if there was no boo's from the crowd, Stephen wouldn't have known he shouldn't have put the ball in his own net? Got it

Youre talking about him like he's a dog who's just shit on the carpet. He'll know better than anybody how he played.

Yeah fans have the right to boo, theyve paid. I paid a lot of money to sit in the cold too, I just chose to support my team, not put them down.

  8. Well the team actually put in a shift in when the booing started. Also, it should at least make McLeish realise it's best to drop him for the rest of the season. That's a good thing.

I'm going to start booing from kick off

  9. Right, its fooking freezing at the minute. So obviously we've got the heating on in the office, yet fatty downstairs keeps turning it off because she's "ever so warm". Now there isnt only you in the office, everyone else is cold except you so have some **** consideration for others. Also, if she were not so fat (anywhere between 18 & 20 stone) maybe she wouldnt feel so warm. And lastly, she sits there in a big knitted woolen cardigan...take it **** off your warm!!1

We get this all the time at our place. Ends up with the radiators being on full blast just below a window that's wide open, whilst the air-con blows cool air down your neck.

Not even mentioning the enviromental or economical aspects, makes you feel like shit for the day too.

  10. Think About It - Flight Of The Conchords

"They're turning kids into slaves, just to make cheaper sneakers, but's WHAAAT'S the real cost, 'cos the sneakers don't seem that much cheaper... Oooohhhh why we still paying so much for sneakers when they're made by little slave kids... WHAT ARE YOUR OVERHEADS?!"

Can somebody please remove these cutleries from my knees?

  11. Using my iPhone which only has a few selected albums on because I rotate to save memory, so no real surprises; -

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles

Think About It - Flight Of The Conchords

    Glamorous Glue - Morrissey

All For A Woman - The Airborne Toxic Event

    Barney Rubble - The Twang

The first 4 tracks were Beatles if I'm honest, I wasn't putting that. Hmm, shuffle indeed.

  12. How old is she Paddywhack?

Seriously, if you don't have basic computer literacy skills, you shouldn't work for a bank, working with I.T. - This is why we can't have nice things..

In her 60s, worked for banks all her life. She's fine at her job and being on the computer is a small part of what she does. She's not awful at that either, it's just when something is out of 'routine'. Probably about time she hung up her...erm...whatver bankers hang up when they retire.
