I see you cropped out the Bollox on a Chain, thought you was a DVB ;)

Sadly not.... I had to hand my double bollox gong back to the chief of the North Birmingham Lulu tribe (Erdo-uku Pete Katanga) when I had my right knacker removed 8 years ago.

It also meant I couldn't drink in town mate - not even um bongo juice 😥

No disrespect but who looks at that photo of yourself and thinks 'I should post this in a public forum'?

    None taken.

I guess i have a self deprocating sense of humour and also I suppose I was trying to imply that passport photos in general are now very strict in their guidelines. No smiling, no alterations, eyes clearly visible, mouth closed etc....I don't usually look like that 🤣

Everyone remembers Saturday Night Fever... they forget about Sunday Morning Hangover ;)

i did have a 'Nextdoor' update from the local group saying a pair of Slazenger joggers had been spotted in the vicinity of Sainsburys! :P

I endeared myself to the daily mail-reading shoppers by commenting that guacamole was just "posh green sh!te" and then walking away, picking the joggers from the crease of my arse 😀

I see that not everyone is giving Rowett a warm welcome on KRO, Albert has said:

"Fcukin hate the cnut rowett, the aston loving cock.... having said that, i won't behave like some of the tools did that abused rooney at his very first home game. I wish it wasn't him coming in but needs must." I hope Agent Gary reads those subtle words of encouragement, before he takes them down to Division One! ;)

The thing is, for too many years they've gladly got their grubby, skip rummaging mitts on our out of contract players or youth players who didn't quite make in proppa football (mate) so they ended up at Stans. Even loaned them lot down the road players, facilities etc., which they conveniently forget.

If he keeps them up (which, annoyingly HE might not, morelike other teams once again being sh!tter than small heath do them the seasonal favour) they'll begrudgingly accept him but point to TM as the real saviour. If they finally drop he will simply be a dvb; a ridiculous appointment.

So.....let's hear it for Agent Rowett !

  5. Finished Boarders. First episode promised so much but in the end i felt it ended up nothing more than a modern day posh Grange Hill.....I don't know.....perhaps I was hoping it would be edgier or darker/sinister ?

Ooh...do you think they'd let me back in or do I still have to Lidl it over the road ?

Same I don't think it was aimed at you @mottaloo.

Thanks Marv..... I am old skool in feelings and emotions but it seemed pretty direct.

Anyway....like I imply....I ain't thin skinned normally so I'll drop it and let's just all look forward to a good performance at west ham today 😁

    To clarify the above post.

I'm not championing the environmentalists or what they've done.

Just trying to explain why I think they've done it and why it's been successful for them.

It's the same as when they glue themselves to things or block roads. If everyone ignored it then they'd stop and try something else.

Growing up in the countryside, then living in cities and now being semi urban in a relatively wealthy suburb. There are way more of these types of vehicles about nowadays and they don't get used the same way as they did 20 or 30 years ago. They're not off road vehicles or used for pulling caravans or horseboxes, they're used on the school run or to go shopping. I can't go a hundred yards down the road without seeing multiple shiny white rangerovers or other 4x4s and speaking to the parents at my sons school they all think we're nuts for going camping or doing outside activities.

Thanks for your point and thanks in particular for not telling me to leap off a cliff, kill myself but ultimately reduce the planet's carbon footprint 🙂

Assuming they’re just letting the air out and not slashing them, It’s a fairly low damage way to raise awareness to be fair.

    Fair point Stevo.

However.....I don't know about you but if I have only ONE flat tyre I more than annoyed about the inconvenience but all four......and done by someone who feels entitled to target me for climate change abuse..... I really wouldn't trust myself not to take a tyre spanner to his/her head as he/she raised my awareness.
