Been there many times in my Villa supporting days and believe me it's nothing like going to Ibroke ( especially if you support a team in green and they believe you are all fenian bas**rds)
Forgive my ignorance here - and this is a genuine question - but given the name of your club, wasn't there an initial hardcore of irish immigrant support at Hibs ?
I mean, I've heard that Hearts supporters are just rangers fans without the bus fare ?
Happy to be corrected and isn't a wind up. Thanks.

Pobably doesn't say much for these that they weren't much better, and I don't think they're out of trouble yet by a long shot, because of they play like they did today against most teams they will lose
Indeed. A couple more twists and turns ahead for sure. I am hoping that dvb barry bannan will have a big say in the final shake up, especially if it means that the great unwashed finally slip round the u bend.
But for now....the bull ring tavern is proppa jumpin' as they plot their way to champions league glory in 3 years, thinking they'll walk the league next season

I've been watching the game and Preston have been awful, hard to believe that before today they had only lost one in ten and are meant to be challeging for promotion, QPR looked much better and created way more the other day, small heath haven't even been good themselves, but haven't had to be.
This result doesn't make them safe though, they're still only two points clear as it stands, with Leicester to play next
Not watching the game but if the BBC stats tell the true story then Preston are definitely crap

Put your plungers away boys.....this turd ain't for flushing. Again.

He's **** awful, almost "Bomma Brown" bad.
Even my missus was shouting "shut up you prick!" at the radio
You definitely sure it was the radio she was shouting at

We have a Hobbies thread for stuff we are into now, but what about things you used to like/love and can't be bothered with now
Films/Cinema - Not fussed anymore. From going to the cinema circa 50 times a year in my twenties, to not going at all in the last 10 years. People's behaviour just got more shitty and entitled. I still watch the odd film on TV, but have no idea on what is coming out. Whereas I used to get all the magazines like Empire, Total Film and Premiere delivered.
This. 100%. Too many thick as sh!t, ignorant mouth breathers talking to each other, on their phones, filming themselves watching a movie.....they seem to have the attention span of an andrex puppy and don't stop fidgeting or rustling sweet papers or slurping drinks. Total words removed !

Nice to beat a bogey side - this was a game where we weren't great to start with but gradually took control. Wasn't pretty at times but 3 points is all that matters at this stage of the season

If you can bear it, pop over to sha.com for an entertaining thread about Matt Murray........where a nose was chatting to him in an airport queue.....how complimentary he was about blose blah blah blah (I mean he ain't gonna say they're crap esp if he was gonna be stuck on the same flight with said nose)....bit of self protection really......
However.....
The first reply was "isn't he a dvb ?".......and then in comes the many replies....one or two actually about Murray....but....well y'know how it goes when one mentions dvb....pure entertainment

U.S. singer Lizzo has quit the industry due to negative comments made about her size.
Yeah, me neither.

They always shithouse their way out of trouble somehow.
The dvd about how the dvb manager saved them is already being prepped

It would be proppa blooze mate if they went down the same season that Tom Brady and the Hedge Fund possé rode into town (for a pint) to give them fresh hope in their shiny new Stans @ JLR stadium.
But....yeah.....the turd that just won't flush....

Malibu and red* lemonade tastes exactly like Frosties. The hard boiled red sweets we used to live on when growing up.
* Which may be a uniquely Irish product. You guys usually only have white.
Red lemmo.....memories of Taylor Keith or Nash's, along with a bag of tayto in a pub garden in the rebel county

Have to admit I hate that England away kit, doesn't even look like a proper England kit.
That said, the Belgium kit looks just as bad.
Belgium look like a mix from the Coventry City lost property box of the 70s

I see you cropped out the Bollox on a Chain, thought you was a DVB
Sadly not.... I had to hand my double bollox gong back to the chief of the North Birmingham Lulu tribe (Erdo-uku Pete Katanga) when I had my right knacker removed 8 years ago.
It also meant I couldn't drink in town mate - not even um bongo juice

No disrespect but who looks at that photo of yourself and thinks 'I should post this in a public forum'?
None taken.
I guess i have a self deprocating sense of humour and also I suppose I was trying to imply that passport photos in general are now very strict in their guidelines. No smiling, no alterations, eyes clearly visible, mouth closed etc....I don't usually look like that

Everyone remembers Saturday Night Fever... they forget about Sunday Morning Hangover
i did have a 'Nextdoor' update from the local group saying a pair of Slazenger joggers had been spotted in the vicinity of Sainsburys!
I endeared myself to the daily mail-reading shoppers by commenting that guacamole was just "posh green sh!te" and then walking away, picking the joggers from the crease of my arse
