I think 4-51 is the best way to go. People always assume it's a defensive formation but it doesn't have to be.

I'm not convinced by Young playing "in the hole" so far. I think he needs more space which he does get out on the wings. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong though, he certainly has the attributes to play there.

He shouldn't cost more than 5m pounds I think. His wages would be much lower than for example Sidwell's. We know that the wage bill is the main issue of worry so getting Sidwell off it and maybe Heskey and then getting Sigurðsson in could work.

Villa should buy Gylfi Sigurðsson from Reading. He's an attacking midfielder who scores loads of goals. He had fantastic game this evening when Iceland U21s won Germany 4-1 and scored a brilliant goal straight from a free kick. He wouldn't cost too much and I think he can definitely handle playing in the Premier League. I think we should snap him up before someone else does.

How things have changed in the past year?! My first reaction to this today was just total shock but then I thought maybe it's a good thing because despite how much I like MON he can be, at times, very frustrating. But as time goes by I just can't see much to be positive about. Something big had to happen for him to do this just a few days before the season kicks off. If the next manager is someone like Martin Jol or someone of the same caliber then things will look a lot better. But if we get Bradley or Curbishley, then we can forget about European football in the next years let alone the Champions League. I'm going to wait and see what happens next. Who will Randy appoint as manager and also what will happen in regards to transfers? I'm just going to try to focus on something else for the next few days. If I can.

Albrighton has been very good. Sometimes I feel that Ashley Young tries to much, when there is an easy pass he sometimes likes to dwell to much on the ball. Maybe why Capello doesn't fancy him?
