It's different to Anfield, a different formation, this is going to be beautiful football from Man City, as we hand them them the full central midfield.

This is going to be horrific. If Blackburn can outplay us, I'm quite sure Man City can.

Think I've found a way to sort of get the best of both, zoom Tele in as far as it will go, then sort the height out to your liking. It's far enough out to get a good view of the field but close enough to see what's going in.

What camera do you all use? I use dynamic but the fact you can't see that much of the pitch can be annoying on this game. I don't like Tele either, bit too zoomed out. Downing is amazing for me online, not sure why, had a game with ManU, losing 1-0 until the 84th, Luke Young got on the end of one of his corners then Gabby headered in a cross in the 88th. Final score 2-1 I don't like how I'm playing online though, Villa can't pass that well compared to others, so I now play a midfield of Milner-Sidwell-Petrov, which does work, but it still struggles to keep ball with the best so every game turns into me playing on the counter.

My main problem with it is how easy your defense can get pulled out of position, and it only seems to happen with Villa, everybody goes in the box together, leaving you ridiculously open to a counter. And CB's often seem to go charging forward to chase a CF for no reason.

That's taking it a bit far, don't you think? Although I do think 09 is better.

Well, after quite alot of online games I'm not so sure this game is a step forward, there is so many faults in it. Free kicks, I can hold down LB and curl it round the wall into the goal every single time. Goal kicks are bollocks, I've conceded a few from the goal kick, your defenders miss it and they chest it on and score. Your keeper comes out when you don't want him to on 1 on 1's leaving for an easy lob. Everybody is the same pace, or near enough, Gabby can't beat Skrtel for pace, wtf? Young is a useless player on that, just bench him already. It's more fluid, and has a better feel to it but there are so many little problems that make it hard to overlook, a bit dissapointing so far.

Love it, Petrov is awesome on this, as is Downing.

Good to see L. Young get a solid rating this year, Young is 84 and Milner is 82, but due to being played RM/LM on that picture rather than LW/RW there rating drops by 1. It happened on the last Fifa too.

By struggle that's more meaning relegation, we won't struggle, we'll just settle around 10-8th. Now considering the amount of money spent over the past 3 year, I'd expect a little bit more.

Barca's actual backline isn't that great. Alves is more like a winger, Abidal is solid whilst Pique and Puyol are good, but most of there defense comes from simply not allowing the other team to breathe all over the field and when they get the ball, they don't let the other team have it. I don't think Villareal are that much better than us, of course this IMO. Spurs are probably better than them though and Man City definitely are. I consider the relegation fodder/mid table teams in Spain to be much worse than the ones in England.

You think so? I think that would of rightfully been the case a few years ago but now? Well I'd say Spurs, Man City and us could beat any team outside there top 4 and maybe Everton. Then we have teams like West Ham, Fulham, Sunderland who I'd say are better than anybody outside probably the top 8 in Spain. The big names are in Spain, but the defence there is laughably bad, whilst at least even our bad teams try hold it together. How many great defenders can you think of that play in Spain? Puyol? Sure but he's not better than Vidic, Ferdinand, Terry or Carvalho.

I said there is a top 2 then 4 other teams of good quality, the rest of the spanish league are awful, there only purpose is to get **** 5-0 by Barca or Madrid, they don't put up a fight, they just roll over and take a mauling. Can you really say the top 4 in Spain or stronger than the teams in England? The top 2, yes. After that, not a chance. The reason no English teams win the UEFA cup is because it's only in the past 3 years that England have really had a quality league in depth, and even now alot of the English teams don't take it seriously simply because there is a lot more money in getting a good league position over winning the UEFA cup, and teams don't have the depth to compete in both. The bottom half of La Liga are championship quality, it's that simple. The defences there are outrageously bad, watch Barca play against any team below 8th, it's great football to watch, yes, but so much of that is down to poor defending. For **** sake yesterday Pique got into loads of space to simply pick his finish from a free kick. The set piece defending in La Liga is so, so bad. I genuinely don't understand how some people can argue that La Liga is better than the prem sometimes. Barca are better than anybody in England I think it's fair to say, Madrid could be but right now aren't playing that well despite the results. Look at the last 6 CL finalists to see how dominant England is too.

Ronaldo has much more to his game, stronger, scores more, can score from pretty much anywhere. The main thing Messi has over him is his ability on the ball and where Messi will beat 2 players and score, Ronaldo will simply smash it. Ronaldo will score an insane amount of goals this year, because La Liga is poor, it's like a more high profile Scottish league, two teams challenge for everything. There is a group below of around 4 teams, Atletico, Valencia, Sevilla, Villareal then the rest of the league is dire. The defending in Spain is awful, Ronaldo managed to find space 6 yards out on a corner to volley it, that would just never happen in England.
