  1. Heh. Houllier's absolutely terrible in the transfer market. DO NOT WANT. He also made a lot of good signings. Even MON made bad signings, they're still at the club. He didn't make a lot of good signings, he made a few of them. And he was managing Liverpool, who could attract almost everyone. He/Liverpool did attract almost everyone. 1 × UEFA Cup: 2000-01 1 × UEFA Super Cup: 2001 1 × FA Cup: 2000-2001 2 × Football League Cup: 2000-2001, 2002-03 1 × FA Community Shield: 2001 That's what he won with some of the signings he made. I'd be happy if he did that here too. Think he'd do the same at Villa that he did at Liverpool? Its as easy here?

  4. I used to be a fan when he used to get stuck in and I was hoping he'd eventually learn not to get caught in possession so much. He isn't quite as stupid with the ball nowadays, which is nice. But at the same time he doesn't really tackle anymore for some reason. He just runs around, wins the ball maybe a couple of times per game and joins a few attacks where he never contributes towards a goal. Feeling very meh about him nowadays, just about does a job on the pitch when he's starting I suppose.
  5. That would have been a good away performance, except for the fact it was at home. Friedel won the game for us.
  6. I don't give a toss about possession, but it would be nice if we could string our second attack together at some point..
  7. Capello during the Slovenia game.. Very amusing
  8. The England team visited an orphanage in Cape Town today. "It's heartbreaking to see their sad little faces with no hope" said Jamal aged 6
  9. Well Benayoun's house must be for sale, he says he's going to Chelsea. And Inter want Mascherano apparently.
  10. Yeah, Germany is ahead of Italy at the moment. Inter needs to win before pens (or before ET?) to move Italy back ahead.
  11. As if the gap between 2nd and 3rd wasn't big enough already..
  12. Marseille, Lyon straight in and Auxerre went to qualifiers.
  13. Well one day Hodgson is going to figure out how to win away games in PL
  14. It wasn't dead rubber, they had an outside chance of finishing ahead of Arsenal which would have been big on a number of levels.
  15. I actually think hes been pretty good, and looks a threat. Yeah he's lively, a bit sloppy but Milner has been too. And Carew is always sloppy.
  16. Well done Spurs. Also I think they are better off when Palacios isn't playing. Beat Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City without him with good performances.
  17. Spurs haven't beaten any of the top teams away this season and City has only lost at home to Man Utd and Everton, it's not surprising the odds are long for a Spurs win. The race for fourth is quite finely balanced though since a draw is enough for Spurs.
  18. Young's crosses have all been to right area but well defended
  19. That could have been a penalty, Warnocks hand was up
  20. YES YTRSEE CAREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
