In Harry Maguire’s case, it is.
He’s more of a Leyland Daf kind of look I would have said

Watkins MOTM for the goals… but my god, Konsa has been immense

Bring Olsen and Tielemans on to sure it up.

As bad as Luiz & Kamara were against Everton, they’ve been utterly superb.
Watkins take a bow son, unbelievable first half.
Cash has had Mitoma in his pocket.
Brilliant all round.

It’s not about if Olsen is a good keeper or not, it’s about if he can play our system.
He can’t.
He just can’t.
Either change him, or change the way we play when he plays. I don’t understand why this concept is so difficult. The whole defence starts to panic when he’s in goal for this very reason. Let the guy boot it.

Not his fault.
He clearly can’t do the passing around stuff yet we continue to ask him to do it.
He can’t do it.
Stop asking him to do it.
Just smack the damn ball if you’re going to pick him.

Absolutely horrific last night.
He’s been amongst the best players on the pitch for months. But last night, he was possibly the worst.
Wasn't up for it all.
however, he’s earned having one horror show. Which is more than can be said for a few others.

He was terrible in a team that played terribly.

25 points from their last 29 matches. Proper relegation form that.
Oh my. This would be the stuff of dreams.
imagine they get relegated?
That would be the end of them

My favourite player

Gave it to Luiz in a rush, but I should’ve given it to Martinez

This Chelsea team is there for the taking. I absolutely want us to play like we did at Burnley away and set up camp in their half. They aren’t Liverpool or Newcastle so the only question is whether we put our chances away.
Completely disagree.
They’re not playing well as a team, but they have some very good individuals. They’re far from shit. It’s only so long that their terrible luck in front of goal can continue.
We need to give them the respect they deserve to beat them. I don’t think any team that’s got a good result got it from completely out classing them. Their matches have been close, and some that they have actually dominated.
They have 1 point less than Newcastle, one goal difference worse than Newcastle, yet we were absolutely destroyed by Newcastle.
They are MUCH closer to a Newcastle/Liverpool than they are to being a Burnley.
We will no doubt play the high line, and very possibly get completely undone because of their pace against our defence.
They’re doing pretty shit for their standards, but they are FAR from a walkover. And in my opinion, it’s not a matter of whether WE put our chances away, but rather if THEY put theirs away - which has been their biggest problem.

Mentally it must be really tough for him as a striker that a defensive midfielder is basically being asked to score our goals from the spot. Penalties should be bread and butter for a striker.
Really?
some of the best penalty takers in history were midfielders.
Hell, one was even a frickin Goalkeeper!

If there’s a manager being blackmailed, it’s gotta be Southgate.
There can be no other explanation for some of his decisions.

He isn't really our youth player so not sure its FFP beneficial. Him doing a job in Championship might bump up a fee next summer
Am I missing something?
Making a profit = FFP beneficial.
The reason youth players sales are considered FFP beneficial is because they cost £0, so ANY fee is FFP beneficial.
Have I got this wrong?

Good on Sancho to stand up for himself.
Ten Haag needs to sort his people skills out.
All fine when he’s calling his players shit, about time one of them turn round and ask about his performance during the training sessions.
He needs a lesson or two in not airing his dirty laundry in public. Even if it’s just keep the value of his assets up.
Seems a toxic character destroying the club. And I’m loving every minute.

I’ll never really understand the hate for Rashford.
Nor me.
He could have channelled his time into so much selfishness… but he hasn’t.
Huge kudos to him

Jesus Christ, I'm sure @KAZZAM doesn't think that Leeds are currently holding Gnonto in a room with a gun to his head.
This **** forum sometimes
a bit of a random comment..Did anyone mention guns and heads?
I don’t think they did. The only person suggesting a hostage situation is the person you are saying DIDN’T mention a hostage situation.
indeed, this **** forum sometimes. People replying to non existing posts like they were hilarious.

That's the one flaw I think will continue to be a problem as season goes on unless he can step up...Diaby's passing and speed of thought is really too quick for him.
Next step will be to buy a CF on Diaby's wavelength which won't be easy.
Zaniolo looks like he could do that.

Particularly when he keeps playing a high line against him.
Said before the season started the high line would crucify Villa against the better teams.
Exactly this.
We can’t play a high line with Torres. Konsa and Mings are rapid, so it generally worked.
