I'm surprised he hasn't been deployed as a striker more often as he has all the attributes, sort of reminds me a bit of berbatov.

I saw some of his smashes into goal and thought batistuta

Bit odd if you ask me.

he has been there for the taking all summer and we haven’t gone in for him or he would already be here.

Did the Buendia injury spark this?  I know they’re not like for like, but an attacking player?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kane sign a new contract to be honest.

THEN you can say he loves his club.  Right now he looks like he’s **** them over.

Bit of a difference between Kane and Jack, Spurs are going backwards. Have been for the past couple of years. Without Kanes goals and clever Penalties they would be mid table fodder.

We were going forward, had a project, but Jack had already decided that he was going. He nearly went to spurs, he nearly went to Utd, but then came out with that my club my city b@llox then left the following year to join City.

Kane may lack ambition if he stays as Spurs won't be getting top 6 any time soon. But if he rejects the chance of Champions league football and challenging for the leagues then it shows he loves his club at least.

    Disagree.

only signing a new contract shows that he loves the club.

Rejecting a £85-£95m move and leaving for free (so that he can pocket the fee himself) or for a lower fee to a different club proves the exact opposite.

Might as well pull off his shirt and wipe his arse with the Cockerel.

Hate him or not for leaving, but he got us a £100m payday.

Imagine if he’d rejected City £100m just so he could leave for free the next season? Would have felt sick to my core.

  5. It wouldn’t surprise me if Spurs now are forced to accept a much lower bid from a different club.  This is no loyalty boyhood club bullshit.

unless he signs a contract, he’s literally **** over his boyhood club.

And I’m **** loving him for it 😆😆😆

Fair play for him sticking around at his boyhood club.  I imagine it's a pretty big deal for their fans; I wish Grealish had done the same.

I guess I'm a bit of a football romantic like that, though.

I don’t think he’s sticking around because he wants to be at spurs though.

He’s sticking around to wind down his contract and leave for free probably to Man Utd and pocket a vast amount of that transfer fee instead.

It is literally the worst thing he could do to his boyhood club.  And I’m soooo glad Grealish DIDN’T do the same.

Unless by some miracle he signs a new contract of course. Then you’d be 💯 right.

Probably on to the forums of Rotherham and Plymouth giving it the big one about Bielsa

    Lol.

I still can’t get over the fact that they thought they were better than Bielsa

There was only one reason they were in the premier league… and they sacked him 😂😂😂

I would say the one who comes out of this looking stupid is Levy if he leaves on a free or Kane if he signs a new deal

But levy accepted the bid.  Played a blinder even getting £100m for a grandad with 1 yr left on his contract.  He’s looking a **** genius from where I’m standing.

I just think she really let the team down the other day and put them in real jeopardy of going out. No matter how talented I find that difficult to make an exception for, especially straight away. In theory the team would have won the quarter final and semi final by then too so wouldn't be missing her that much.

Maybe compromise and have her on the bench? 😅

I totally understand what you’re saying.

But in keeping with the theme of the last few pages, she looks like we snuck a man into the women’s game.  She’s quality.  A joy to watch even.

I’m sticking to my guns and starting her 😂

If England do get to the final I'd still leave her out of the squad.

    Hmmm… I get where you’re coming from…

But… she’s our best player by a long shot.

Be like leaving Messi out to teach him a lesson.

I’d pop her right back in as it improves our chances of winning

Not at all.  It's quite clear that the female versions of some sports are entirely different to their male counterparts (despite being the SAME SPORT).

It's cool though, I'll pop you on ignore and we can get on with our lives.

Entirely different but the the same.

    😂😂😂

    ‘ENTIRELY’

    ’Completely’

    but… the SAME.

    Nope.

And no-one is claiming that the rules are any different.

You OK btw hun? So much anger. Your blood pressure must be crazy.

    I’m fine babes.

you ok? Desperately hearing things you want to hear to prove your incorrect points?

Their business has been excellent , Barkley won’t physically be able to start every premier league game I don’t know if he’s ego can handle being subbed off or left on the bench? I do think he’ll score some important goals for them I just hope for their sake he’s grown up a bit.

It’ll be the same old Barkley.  He’ll look good for a few games then revert back to form.

Some players you just know what they bring to the table.  He’s not going to get his hands dirty.
He might score a couple of crackers, but that will not compensate for the fact that Luton will be playing with 10 men 90% of the time he’s on the pitch.

    Awful signing.

Did she say “for me, they’re almost two completely different sports”?

    Well I’ll be damned.

Lol, trying to claim that as some sort of victory? 🤣

The ball almost went in = the ball didn't go in.

    I almost died = I didn't die

"almost two different sports" = "aren't two different sports".

What do you know, even Serena Williams agrees its THE SAME SPORT.

    Well I'll be damned.

  15. Lazy Lazy player that doesn't belong in the premier league.

Utterly bizarre signing for a team that will need all hands on deck.

A team like luton can not afford to carry a player.

I'm not defensive about this really.  My initial comment (which I doubt you've read given that you've called me "sexist" and to "get a grip".  I think you probably just wanted to rail against "defensiveness"; who knows) was that I find comparisons between women's football and men's football **** dull.  It's pointless; they're different games.

@useless has outlined it very well.

Lol.  I’ve already told you that wasn’t directed at you - and you even acknowledged it 😂😂😂

    Yet here you are…

It’s like taking to a brick wall with you.
