Tammy was good today, even if he didn't manage to score. I really hope he's able to come back in two weeks since Kodjia is abyssmal.
As is your spelling

When people on here decide they don’t like a player, they just criticise at every opportunity.
There was nothing wrong with his cameo.
in fact, he did less ‘wrong’ than Tammy did during that match.
I’m not suggesting that he’s better, and should be starting blah blah blah, and in general Tammy’s all round play has been incredible. In general Tammy’s contribution and work ethic is a total joy to watch.
BUT.. Against forest he had a mare.
He headed wide from 6 yards out unmarked.
He fluffed a shot that ended up being better than what it should, and he made a poor effort from an opportunity where we could have scored with McGinn charging into the area.
Passes repeatedly went astray, and 2-3 times he headed into a space where the forest players ran onto with no villa players around them.
Honestly, I don’t remember many positives from his performance at all, which is very unusual for him.
So when people say Kodjia did more when he came on, I agree.
Does that mean I’m asking for Tammy to be dropped? Kodjia to start? No.
But to give him grief over his cameo is harsh.

Put in no crosses that I recall
every pass is behind the midfielder who was to run backwards towards our own goal to collect, killing momentum.
compare him to Elmo on the other side, who isn’t brilliant himself, and we have no forward threat from left back at all.
We’ve reached the point of thinking he’s done well when he’s just done the basics of defending ok.
axel back in the middle and Hause at LB can’t come soon enough for me.

I’m in the he did fine camp too
quite honestly, was no worse than Tammy last night.
I understand giving him stick when he deserves it, but come on!
-
Am I alone in thinking he offers that little bit more than green at the moment?
-
I’m excited.
with grealish in the team, I genuinely think we’re the best team in the league.
if he gets injured, it’ll be a disaster.

I defended well today though.
Freudian slip there, Neil?

Absolute monster. Didn't put a foot wrong tonight.
Sign this man up!
loved the way he tried some funky turn in our box and lost it, just to win it back.
'cause he CAN.

I did wonder if that yellow could've been a different colour (no replays though, so maybe not) but aside from that, he was great.
yh, I thought it could have been red really

There's definitely a mistake in him every game.. but he's doing enough good stuff to brush it over at the moment.

Yet another Hibs fan here, coming down for the Middlesbrough game. Looking forward to seeing Grealish, Abraham and of course SJM - assuming he gets his game. Difficult to criticise Dean Smith for not starting him at the weekend, following the thrashing the previous week, but I would be genuinely concerned if McGinn were now thought to be a mere impact player or a super-sub or whatever. If he has a fault it may be that he tries to do too much; his best form at Hibs coming when he was complimented by excellent midfielders such as Scott Allan and Dylan McGeough. There was also a suggestion on here that SJM might have been dismissed, had he started, with comparisons being made to Roy Keane. While he certainly gets far too many yellows, I think Hibbys would be surprised that he might be regarded as some sort of hot-head: he was never red-carded at Hibs (the only one in 2015 was rescinded), and survived many, many Edinburgh derbies without getting himself sent off. Best thing about him was he played his heart out at Hibs, even when he knew he was going - he’ll do the same for you, and will see himself playing in the Premiership with Villa, not Leicester (so long as he is allowed to start occasionally!)
I don’t think there’s any danger of this.
Although he would have walked back into the team, I think it would have been bad man management to drop anyone after an excellent display against derby. Quite correctly Smith have the same players a chance to continue where they left off, and when one wasn’t performing to the same standard as the game before, he made the change.
i fully expect JM to regain his starting place after he proved his value to the team once again.

Apparently he told the court he was sober, and like most SHA's he's unemployed.
God, they’re a horrible bunch ain’t they? *shudder*

These fines are a complete joke.. I've just picked up more for doing 36 in a 30...
Exactly this.
clearly they take into account what he can afford..
but if he can afford a season ticket, can afford whatever he had to drink to get his Dutch courage, and can afford to risk his job by acting like a clearing in the woods.. he can afford more that £350.
i got a £300 fine for handing my tax return in late.
go figure.

If he continues with the level of performance he has shown last 2 games he is definitely gone in the summer if we don’t go up.
Not only is he a top player he has the look and has shown tremendous character for his reaction and then scoring the winner. He has become a football celebrity and that is what sells shirts. 30 odd million will probably be accepted.
It will be sad to see him leave but I think it’s inevitable. Hopefully we can reinvest all of the money.
If he leaves, I’m gonna buy that Paul fella a spurs season ticket.

No he won't. He be seen as he is.....A silly dickhead who will do anything for attention. The dudes a pussy that's why he hit grealish from behind like a coward. You don't get cred for that. TBH he should've been charged with terrible technique aswell. What he did wasn't tough, brave or clever. It was retarded and he will now be known by all as that retard.
Eubank jr said the technique was quality lol

I’ve never lost my faith.
after the first few performances I saw the difference in the way we played, and I knew given time he’d work wonders.
we just need a plan b for Jack and we’re sorted.
