However, with the supposed story that something major happened last night we can live in hope that he will have something exciting on the plane with him although I expect those hopes to be dashed shortly!     I agree. Whilst I'm delighted with him Tony Mack and Sid, I'd like someone with huge international knowledge of the game. I was disappointed with the attendance too, caused by our lack of signings I feel and the fallout caused by MON. I'm not sure if we'll get better attendances if Kevin Mac takes the job. May be a summer holidays thing, the attendance. Think we only got about 36k last year against Wigan too.

    Bradley would be such a dissappointing choice. He has no European experience, let alone English experience. As far as I know, he has only managed (at club level) in America, which is like us plucking someone from the Conference. This smells (if true) of the cheap option. I wish for once, we would just show a bit of ambition and get the best manager available - Sven. I am fed up of us being a nearly club, I want us to push on, but if it is Bob Bradley, then we will finish 10th at best IMO. If Randy hasn't got the funds to compete anymore, then maybe he should try and find someone who has!

    Hi General, You may or may not want to comment, but is Randy looking to appoint someone in time to do some transfers before the window shuts, or will it be a case of going with what we've got until January?

    A minority of 1 I think For me, Sven is the best of the current 'candidates'.

    No chance of getting Moyes. He only just signed a new 5 year contract. He would cost about £10m in compo.

    I would be reasonably happy with Sven. Stephen Ireland played his best football under Sven at City, Sven knows the european transfer market well, and he has been relatively successful wherever he's been. Not sure who we could attract any better tbh.

    Can't see why MON would back down only 24 hours after saying he won't be going unless we get our price (which is rumoured to be £30m)

    This is going to keep happening every summer until we have rich enough owners to compete. I don't like it, but thats the way it is. I guess we will have to just get used to it.

    Maybe we already have Milner's long term replacement - Delph - I know he's out until Xmas but we can cope until then.
