Yeah but loan is different from a permanent move for a number of reasons but it’s certainly a good sign
I agree with you!

If he has no intention of signing with us then its pointless developing him further. A shame but its 8 months since we offered him a contract and no nearer him signing. Tim did the exact same thing by leaving Baggies for us. He was their shining light . We have always done incredibly well to keep hold of our best players in youth football, compared to our midlands rivals.
We’ve developed him since he was a child, he’s shown his potential in this match. If we do let Chukwuemeka leave, we might regret it

At least his price goes up...
We’d be silly to sell him, he has a lot of potential

Interesting to see if he’s one of these “London Only” type players if he leaves Chelsea.
He was on loan at WBA and Swansea from Chelsea, so that suggests that he’s not

According to Mark Delany Carney Chukwuemeka has been with us since he was ten.
Where did he say that? I’m not doubting you, just curious

Sweet jesus. He wears one of those ridiculous man bag things.
Gerrard out.
Why are they ridiculous?

In midfield I meant, Mcginn plays on the right and his first thought is always long ball
Apologies, I see what you mean now, I think you are correct with your assessment of McGinn there, not that you need my approval!

I honestly think we could benefit having someone on the right who can link up play, we constantly abuse the left side
Isn’t Buendia that player?

Rory Wilson gonna be one of the most hype kids in the PL with the media attention this move is getting. He better be good
He’s 16 years old, a kid, he shouldn’t be hyped up too much regardless of how good he is. I have been guilty of this in the past with many other young players on here and been made to look a fool on many occasions

Ok, not sure many will agree on here. He’s an awful footballer at this level.
Not for the first time on here that many have disagreed with me

greeg evans says we are in advabced talks to sign ben mee
Thanks beachboys1, I’ve always rated him, I remember seeing him play for Man City in 2008 at Villa Park for the u18s. I think Kieran Trippier played in the same match. He’s a very underrated player for me

He was 13 million and a boyhood Newcastle fan
Most sources say £13m, Daily Mail says £11m, still a great deal for Newcastle

Does Nathan Collins have a high enough ceiling for us to move on Konsa and/or Chambers to get him in as RCB/RB backup and long term successor to Carlos?
Have read and seen great things about him!
He’s a great player, I remember seeing him at Villa Park when he was at Stoke City when we were in The Championship. Collins and Harry Souttar had a great match for Stoke that day

Dan Burn wasnt cherry picked. He was 3rd or 4th choice defender
What Useless said, I’m not here to point score Zatman, how Eddie Howe managed to sign him for just £7m I’ll never know, he’s such an underrated player, money talks. I have nothing to back this up but I’d bet Burn is on a more than decent wage at Newcastle
-
I think Spurs have made a great move here, he’s everything an ambitious side like them would look for in a new signing. I think they have gotten a bargain for £25m, I feel sorry for Brighton though, they’ve been cherrypicked again. Dan Burn to Newcastle United for 7m from Brighton which was a steal for Newcastle United and now this. I really rate Bissouma, he has all of the tools needed to be a great player for Spurs

A bit like Benteke, when was with us?
Exactly, they have proven that can perform in the Premier League in the past, there is no reason they can’t do it again

The next Pele. (I hope)
in all seriousness, I wonder how much we have spent on academy prospects since NWSE came in. I seem to recall we spent ~£750k on Chrisene from Exeter city. So would not surprise me if it’s around the £10mil mark.
A few months ago, I saw on the internet that we have signed 30 young players under the age of 18 from others clubs. Sadly, I can’t find it again now

Question though is whether he’s an excellent centre forward in the PL or whether the style doesn’t fit him and he’s better suited to leagues like the Italian league. His spells at Man U and Chelsea suggests he’s not quite right for our league. There are always reasons that could be given for that but it’s just not clicking. Sometimes it’s just like that, it doesn’t mean he’s not an excellent centre forward just not in the PL.
I see what you’re saying nick76 and I am agreeing with you to an extent. He hasn’t become a bad player overnight, he looks knackered to me, it’s understandable, he’s been playing regular first team football since he was 16 years old, it’s bound to take it’s toll on his body and consequently his performances on the pitch. I remember fondly his performances when he was on loan at WBA and Everton from Chelsea, he was outstanding, he has proven he can perform in this league in the past in my opinion

Everyone said the same thing about Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Kagawa, Dembele, Sancho etc.
Lukaku was brilliant for Inter, Flopped for Chelsea.
I still need see how he adopts. Hopefully he scores for funMkhitaryan was good for Man United I thought, same goes for Kagawa, which Dembele are you referring to there? Lukaku is still an excellent centre forward, he hasn’t become a bad player overnight, form is temporary, class is permanent

No, I think we're upgrading our back-up players to players capable of starting, so we have genuine competition for places. Did you see the bit where I said, "We now have 4 centre backs I’d be happy to see in any starting lineup"?
Sorry, I misunderstood

All the players on the released list other than Ashley Young have been removed from the official site now.
But Zito, McBride, and Sewell still there, whether that's any indication that they're staying I don't know for sure.
Have you seen McBride play Useless? He’s been a Villa player for quite some time but I haven’t seen him play. I was hoping you or anyone else tell me more about him please
