Mings as the LB would make sense if he's fit enough.

Yeah, watching Pau get rinsed on the flanks is not the best use of him. At least TM has played there previously, and is obviously a better ‘defender’.

Literally never tries to cheat or gain an unfair advantage ever! Top guy.

Genuinely Tom it makes me so happy to see you bigging him up. I know he’s not the perfect footballer, but he works so hard and he’s such a genuinely nice guy. The improvement in him this last 12-18 months is fantastic. I’m so proud to see someone like him representing our football club. Up the Oliver George Arthur Watkins!!

I don’t doubt Romano’s credibility like a lot do, but he definitely twerks for ‘Big’ clubs.

  4. I hate that little paragraph at the end. Fabrizio wouldn’t have put that if it’d been a Spurs youngster.

Yep I agree, I still think Southgate may favour Toney over Watkins.  It’s so obvious that Watkins should be second choice behind Kane but I’m not sure Southgate sees it that way.  I guess we’ll see.

In fairness, I think Toney is more similar to Kane in attributes/style, but Watkins has done everything he can to make sure he is on that plane. Personally, I’d take all 3. Glad to see you’re on board the ‘Ollie Watkins Train’ Nick! 👍🏼

  6. If we take our “Southgate hates him” hat off, does anyone think he is playing his way into a position to be a genuine option off the bench for England in the Euros? Not just an understudy in case Kane gets injured.

Agree. He'd be in with a great chance of golden boot.

But it's good they've been taken off him in a sensible manner. For whatever reason, they were no good for him.

He's since signed a new contract and is verbally fellated by our best manager in forever even when he struggles.

As you say, best case all round.

We’ve scored every penalty this season, Dougie gets a bit of a boost and it hasn’t harmed Ollie’s confidence one bit.

To be fair I wouldn't know.

However if we think that people at higher levels don't use the same abrasive and shit language we do, we are in for a rude awakening.

Maybe he calls them rocket polishers or word removed s lol.

I do feel some level of privacy and discretion exercised within companies.

For example, some of the stuff we do, say, and post on here, we wouldn't necessarily want getting out to people in different areas of our lives 😂.

It's definitely.piasible that they are all clearings in the woods.

Another thought is, whilst it's a positive to have multiculturism at the club, I wonder if the different groups are forming " cliques " and they have different work and world cultures crearibf rifts.

" The Americans are xxx " " The Spanish lads are pricks " " Oh the British are so xxx ".

Dunno but it's obvious that people aren't aligned, on the same page or seeing eye to eye.

Sorry mate, it was meant in a light hearted way.

In response to what you’ve posted, I have to say it’s fair about the pigeonholing of people and their nationality - I have come across plenty of people in my time with a dislike for “Yanks” in particular.

The main issue of all this for me is that no member of our staff being treated unlawfully. Redundancy happens, but there are processes that have to be followed, and you would hope this kind of thing would be done with a touch of class.

I'm going to say this again as I feel it got lost earlier.

Ben Hatton is the ACTUAL Chief OPERATIONS Officer, meaning he will be the one hands on, and actually implementing things, and reporting to Heck.

Why is he not being equally scrutinised? Wouldn't he be the one more closely in contact with staff, delegation and " in the field " decisions etc?

So he’s the one calling people C*** Suckers?

There could also be an exclusive corporate "c*** suckers club" where, for an additional fee, he could shout "c*** sucker!" at you.

Was I the only one hoping this club that you proposed would work a little ‘differently’? The name is a bit misleading if you ask me…

  11. I have to be honest, I found it very difficult to disagree with any of the article. Of course it is not impossible for us to quantify for the CL for the next 3/4/5 seasons, but the numbers suggest that it is very difficult for one of the sides outside of the 5 that have been consistently successful to sustain such good form over a number of seasons.

I respect the fact that the article didn’t just buy into Spurs being this huge club, and instead packed them in where they truly belong besides the likes of us, Everton and Newcastle.

We have underachieved trophy-wise over the last couple of decades.

Can Unai be the man to buck the ‘trend’? I really hope so, but I don’t think it’s fair for us to expect it if history is telling us anything.
