don't you think him playing deeper will stop the hoof balls? when an attack breaks down he would be a great option , spraying the ball all over the field. We have a great attack, but we are limited in how they themselves are supplied. we proved yesterday the defence knows what to do, reverse the roles and put NRC up to break down play early.

I think Villa should go Balls Out to win the Europa Cup, 6th and Semi's translates to nothing! We need some silverware, and the Europa Cup is the best one to attract players. Villa is going stagnant, we need to pump some energy into the fringes of club. History does matter....

I think I read an article a few weeks back where an ex manager (I forget who) said that Cole was too injury prone to go to the world cup... So why would we buy him. I'm 100% for and inventive (Keane) forward next to Gabby. Brains and speed upfront with a big man as another option.

That was horrid to watch, Defense was great, midfield tried to put out fires all game, but next to no forward momentum. It was like that was the team tactics though. General, I Lived in Haiti (Poorest country in the Northern Hemisphere) for a couple of years, they love football down there. There is no money to be made down there, but it has many dedicated fans and players that can't afford socks never mind boots, is there anything in the longer term that Villa could do to help these football people? I don't have a solid suggestion, other than sending a young coach for workshops and Villa putting there name behind a old Football Kit Donation to Haiti and put it all in a 40ft container and sent it down there, it can only improve our reputation. don't forget Dwight Yorke came from the Islands...

General, I sat watching the draft this weekend, Brady Quinn seems like our Ian Taylor, the photo of him in a Browns kit aged 4 was great. But your third pick.... General, I had a conversation with a Browns Fan from PA, he loves "Soccer", so it took me less that a min to start raving about the Mighty Lions, I asked if Villa was his "Premier League" team, being a Browns fan... he had no idea of the link between Browns and Villa... I'm assuming there is a corporate link, but thats only an assumption. Is there a legal tie between the two clubs, or is it a case of same guy owns two companies? Are season ticket holders of the Browns going to get a Discounted Tickets at VP or the flip? So do WE have a link, and if so are you holding off telling the Browns fans?
