why dont we sign a few big name players overseas. Defoe and Keane have shown what they can do on the pitch in england.. and they havent really set the world on fire. Go for a Klose or someone big. Get the fans flocking back too. Personally i wouldnt mind Defoe though.

ive said Grella before too.. he had Essien in the back of his pocket in the Aus V Ghana game. Until he went off Ghana didnt have a sniff. Best Oz player imo.. very underated.

You know what Sir. Bob, Randy and yourself... and the rest of the directors are doing a remarkable job.. and im sure i speak for most the fans but how can we repay you all! Well most of the locals could goto the games... but fans like myself.. im from australia.. but its just awesome to see the club going so well.. on and off the pitch.. you 'yanks' have really lifted the spirit and the fans of this club and i hope you guys succeed financially and trophy wise for the club and yourselves. I personally think we need a big name signing just to bring the fans back. Like an Aimar. Someone with a creative flair influence.

But we have no backup to Luke and Gabby, I'd take Milner in a shot, a boy who works hard, can play either wing, a decent cross with either foot. We need him atm. I agree.. if a bid for SWP was rejected. Then go for Milner. We have money.. a highly rated manager.. why wouldnt Shaun Wright Phillips come. We would also give him 90 min all the time.

Milners good but nothing better than what we have.. assuming he would play in the Gabby/Moore role. SWP would be an improvement.

We should be going flat out for Shaun Wright-Phillips. He is available in January. Atletico are very interested. He is EXACTLY what we need in MONs favoured formation. In the Luke Moore/Gabby role he would be awesome. Pace to burn.. good skill... can score.. etc

hmm I think we need a flair type midfielder. Aimar Riquelme etc.. We severly lack upfront.. we have the pace. we just need the skill. Good luck MON!

I think were really good in depth for the defence anyway. We need wingers and attackers and a holding midfielder. Mellberg Laursen Ridgewell Cahill...... then you have Delaney and Hughes or even Bouma who can play there if necessary.

im sick of all these old celtic players coming.. at least get the younger quality players.. especially with Randys $$$. Fair enough some are stop gap.. but i hope this Balde rumour in JANUARY isnt true. Why spend 1.5 on an old player... get that Stearman fella instead.

we need a midfielder who gets stuck in and can distribute. I may be bias.. but Vince Grella has been bloody awesome. Not sure if you guys saw the Paraguay friendly the other day but he was immense.. and he must have the best long ball game ive seen from a defensive mid. Superb player. plays at Parma i think captain now too. Probably get him very cheap too.

well i cant really see much harm? would people complain if it brought us 60 million pounds? and most of it went to player signings? Would you rather see Lee Hendrie run on the wings at Villa Park? or Malbranque/someone you personally rate running down the wing of Nike Stadium.

Arsenal got £100 mil from Emirates for Ground Sponsership and 8 years of Shirt Sponership. we wouldnt get that much but wow... alot of money.. why not.. everyone will still refer to it as Villa Park. Premier League is sponsored by different things all the time yet noone calls it the barclaycard... or whatever it is.. Got my vote. As long as its something with a nice ring to it..

I wouldnt mind.. if it brought in money and was called... Red32 Villa Park.. but if its completely changed im not too sure. Arsenal have done it..... if its good for the club? who knows.. What sort of $$ you get for that sponsorship.

in The Sun today.. it was said that Lerner wants the 1981-82 side in a hall of fame... bla bla. I think thats a superb idea and exactly why villa fans want him.. even if he does provide less transfer funds.
