If Jack had turned them down we'd 100% know about it by now. 

Jack is either weighing up his options after hearing our offer, or, and I think this is more likely, the deal is being finalised with city and its a waiting game. After all this is going to smash the British transfer record, its going to be a complex deal. 

Yeah I agree with this. I think we are probably negotiating the way in which the deal is structured. The longer it goes on though, the more chance I think he stays.

No, just another one pretending to be ITK to get social media fame. Notice that he includes the bit about a higher contract offer going to the owners for approval. I'm certain he's seen the video of Lange on the phone and he's added that in to make it sound more credible.

Yep, was thinking the same myself. The fact it's Reddit rather than Twitter actually makes it slightly more likely to be true for me too. Everyone on Twitter is so desperate to get likes, follows and retweets on Twitter and it's so easy to do that when you pretend to have inside information and the information you give is what the fans want to hear.

No, he's talking about the supposed fairytale signings we might make and saying that he's really not confident of them happening.

Imagine how annoying it will be when Southgate starts him for every England game and says that it's because he's improved his game at city.

Need to push on with realistic targets now. I'm all for ambition but frankly it feels like we have spent a large proportion of this transfer window chasing players who we have very little chance of signing.

The speed of the bid going in to him having a medical definitely seems to confirm the release clause. I suspect Purslow won't be so keen to be visible for a while.

Can anyone realistically see him signing? Even if he was keen it's going to take a massive offer for Southampton to accept and a bit like with Smith Rowe it feels like we are wasting time with the pursuit

If we win it then all those fans who constantly put photos of Nyland on social media and say that we should have been relegated will learn how annoying it is when they see fans of every other country put shots of Sterling going down and claiming that's the only reason we won the tournament.

Really good tonight, thought Everton in the first half took a leaf out of Liverpool's suicidal high line against him which certainly helped but he looked dangerous throughout. Southgate watching on and no doubt pencilling his name into the squad.

A really good plan against our women's team is to win a cheap free kick near the box and just float it in to the back post area. Pretty much guaranteed no one touches it and it goes straight in after a melee

This amused me today

Sadly I think the authorities are going to act like someone who has been cheated on. We all secretly know that if they could they would have gone off and dumped us, but then they realised that they would be homeless and everyone would hate them so we've welcomed them back with open arms because we can't imagine life without them. We all know that at some point they will try it on again, but for some reason we feel thankful for them just being with us.
