General, In regards to the Holte Hotel only holding 130. Would there be any way to making match day a ticketing affair for the Holte? And that you have some sort of waiting list? I used to go in the Holte Hotel on match days back in the 80's when i was finally old enough to get in. Now i live in Australia and would love to have a beer in the Holte again on match day when i make my trip back to England, but can't see this being very realistic if the limit is so low! Even better would be a beer with you and Randy to thank you for all the good work your doing !

no need for the first bit - jc Are there any tours of the ground General or any plans to start one?? And how about throwing the training ground into the equation to make a real day of it??? On my Annual pilgrimage from Australia i couldn't think of anything better than to have a guided tour and maybe even meet MON, Randy and your good self!

Hi General, If you ever need Scouts in Australia i'd be more than happy to watch the locals and send reports back to VP, the standard of football over here has picked up over the last 10 years as you probably know from the Aussies playing in the Premier league, so if needed, just give me a shout! Sky say he's an Arsenal target! But that could be more the press jumping on his agents comments! Arsenal Have Eboue, we have no one! He's in the French squad, so can't be too bad! And surely better than Hughes!

I's sooner have an unfit Kewell than a fat, Lazy Viduka any day of the week. The guy only plays when he needs a contract! Wasn't McGrath 'Injury Prone' when we signed him? and IMO he's the best player to pull on a Villa shirt since the class of '82! Kewell is a gamble, but still a quality player when fit......we just need to keep him fit

General, Sorry to bring up the TV deals saga again, but hows this for a possible solution.... The FA and SKY strike up a deal where theres a time frame to when games can be moved, i.e. 2 months notice, that way everyone gets fair warning, and SKY can't make last minute changes. Surely SKY and the FA can arrange this. Also thanks for your post about the way Villa are going, you've made me even more confident in what your trying to achieve at the Villa (if that is possible!)

Exactly. The press make stuff up because they don't what's really happening. I don't recall reading about Nobby Solano's imminent arrival a couple of years ago. I wouldn't mind another one of them. How about Peter Schmeichel, the 1st anyone new of the Greatest keeper of the last 20 years signing, was when he walked into the press conference! The press rely on Big mouthed agents, speculation or clubs trying to get a good deal for there players! IMO reading VT is more realistic than reading the tabloids! MON says he's going to work hard until the last minute and there's a few things in the offing, so you never know! lets just keep our fingers crossed! after all milner was driving down well into the night at the last transfer deadline! there's hope of more yet!

Can i just remind you all of a MON quote, not so long back, it went something like........ If we can get 4 or 5 players of the petrov quality, then i'll be happy (or something similar!) Petrov was 8 mil, so that equats to around 40 mil! sounds to me like we've still a fair bit of Randy's billions to spend, seeing as the only outlay so far will be the 8or9 mil for young when he signs, this seems like peanuts to me

If its a keeper we're looking at then we should have a go for Matt Murray at wolves, IMO he's a future England keeper, although i can't knock foster either!
