  1. We're not saying he is the best midfielder in the world, he's just better for our style of play.
  2. Everton thumped today by United. I don't think they'll get anywhere near 5th this season after seeing them this season, I recognise the injury problems have a major part to play in their performances.
  3. I'm delighted with a point to be honest. Burnley were in control of this game for so long, we didn't have the ability to retain the ball or create any clear cut chances. I was really disappointed with the midfield, no innovation, none at all. Fair play to Heskey for getting the goal. He was MOTM IMO
  4. Petrov is not doing enough in the CM, its showing.
  5. CED - Rubbish, there's no bit in the middle today, NRC would be buzzing around them right now.
  6. Like I've said Burnley can embarrass teams at Turf Moor. We haven't shown anything yet, Burnley in complete control of this game.
  7. Burnley are good at Turf Moor, I wouldn't surprised if we lost by a few goals today.
  8. Petrov is good at keeping the ball but he is crab like.
  9. Burnley are very dangerous at Home. They play football on the ground and hold no consternation at Turf Moor. I'm quite confident going into this match, we've just drummed Bolton 5-1 at VP, and could of scored more. UTV
  10. Everton need major investment now. They can't progress any further under the current board.
  11. Scintillating performance by the boys! Well done MON!! keep this team!
  12. Excellent 1st half! We are looking up for it, unlucky to concede that goal. MOTM so far Dunney, he has been immense.
  13. Fair enough Chindie, I do still believe he has lost that hunger, you can see it when you watch clips of Liverpool or Leicester back in the day. He always had a smile on his face, he looked more aggressive and had that hunger for all to see. I can understand why MON signed him, but looking back it was a huge mistake for him and us. But on to a different question, Why does MON persist on starting him? MON has seen his performances so far and he hasn't lived up to expectations. I just don't understand it, sorry.
  14. Chindie you must realise when Heskey was playing for Liverpool and Leicester, he had the youthful hunger to succeed and make a name for himself. He then moved to SHA after achieving everything he possibly could as a player in the game. And from my perspective lost that desire to play football at that point. He then found his home at Wigan, he was allowed to be himself and Steve Bruce then built the team around him. Our goal is to achieve CL football, is Heskey seriously good enough for where we want to go? Maybe 10 years ago....
