  1. GH's pedigree eclipses MON's achievements as a manager. MON left this club with no trophies, and I'm pretty sure GH won't do the same.
  2. I think you are confused with your own wording. You spoke about 'social mobility' not improving the lot of all. Social mobility is ulitmately zero-sum. I said I confused you
  3. Who are you looking to send downwards? p.s. You haven't bothered to try to explain what 'social mobility' has to do with democracy (in any century). I'm not looking to send anyone downwards. I think I've confused you with my wording, I genuinely mean a better standard of living for the public in the coming years.
  4. What the **** hell does social mobility (for whatever it is worth) have to do with democracy in any century? I think it should be a top priority for any Government in the 21st century.
  5. It isn't "too bad", it's quite serious to cut sternly in the aftermath of a recession. I personally believe the Government should be active in creating work for the public, you need to keep the Economy productive, and people being unable to work will fail to keep the finances healthy.Of course it's serious. I never said it wasn't. If the government was running on a surplus or even a small deficit I'd advocate investing but right now the government is running on a huge deficit. You need to look past the deficit and put the needs of the Country's people first. The current plans by the Tories doesn't advocate progression or social mobility, I believe these to be two important aspects of twenty first century democracy.

  7. I think you need to remember this was a global recession, not Gordon Brown's nefarious plan to ruin the Country's Economy.Oh no I'm nto saying Gordon Brown had some sort of plan to ruin the economy but I certainly don't think he was very competent with running it, particularly when he was chancellor.Just wait for Osbourne's work

  9. What a load of nonsense. Brown knew what to do with the Economy; he managed to stabilise the finances of the Country in a global financial meltdown, and signs of growth have been reported. There's leading Economists who have disagreed with the Tory's budget plans.
  10. I think you'll find disillusioned Tory voters finding comfort with the BNP's political agenda.wrong. Sorry but where Labour loses votes locally I'm afraid the BNP benefitsI'm afraid it's true Rich; I've spoken to a few former Conservative members in my area who have recently voted BNP, I was surprised to hear this. As for Leviramsey's projections, I'm not disputing how the BNP operate as a political machine, I will admit they function the same as old Labour to achieve their goals.

  12. It's the lack of cogency that cost your party a majority at the General Election. I remember Gove being forced to issue an apology; I personally believe that to be the most humiliating position for a newly elected member of Government, thus I will actually say the biggest mistake made was from Michael.
  13. Yes, sure he did.... Stop living in delusion Tone.
  14. Anyone who had difficulty accepting that would be a serious contender for being the most deluded football fan on the planet! Newcastle
  15. If we are being honest, difficult as it is to accept, Liverpool have had better success in the last forty five years than ourselves. I still believe we've got great potential to become a massive club, and I hope this cause is aided by GH's management. Although, I will say it isn't advisable to make a statement such as this when first appointed at a new football club. I don't care about the Liverpool being a massive club bit, that's blindingly obvious. I care about that 7th to 12th bit. Not only is that entirely wrong, it's probably the grouping of positions we least belong in, why the **** would you say that about that club you've just took over? A moronic statement. Sorry. He could have been misquoted, I wouldn't worry too much about that comment.

  17. It will be very interesting to see if he has funding in January to sign his own players.
  18. As I've said previously, I think he was the outstanding, and procurable, managerial application at this current time. I look forward to his tenure at our club, I hope he can extend on our strengths and expand the club's profile worldwide.
  19. I'm pleased with the appointment considering the other candidates being touted around the club.
