Coutinho off for Buendia
Ings or Watkins off for Bailey

Bailey, Buendia and Ramsey within the next 10/15 minutes if we don’t score.

Just missing a goal. This has been very decent.

When I was young, I’m sure these were hotter than the sun? As in, they would strip the skin off your lips, not the chilli factor.

If we can score this half then they’re there for the taking.

This isn’t bad. We’re growing into this now.

Big game required from Coutinho today. Give his all for 60 minutes and receive a standing ovation when he comes off for Buendia.

If things go wrong today and if there is any chance at all then start the process of hiring him:

Huge huge day for him. A loss today and it will be the beginning of the end. He’ll then see out the next couple of games you’d think whilst we sound out his successor.
Hoping for a win of course but something doesn’t feel right - luck or whatever with Carlos and now Mings today? Lady Luck doesn’t appear to be with him. Shame.
-
Mings out is a big blow. Let’s hope Antonio has an off day.

A lot f us were very underwhelmed by Chambers when he signed and quite honestly he’s been fantastic for us since he arrived. If it is Bednarek then so be it, but let’s judge his performances in a Villa shirt rather than someone else’s.

Looks like we’re looking to bring in a defender, midfielder and a forward player over the next week. Whether we can get all three remains to be seen.
Sarr was clearly a forward targeted for us but we’ll have several others identified. Not sure who though?
Bednarek possibly coming in after the weekend, if not Diallo perhaps? However, what about John Stones or Trevor Chalobah on loan if neither are going to get regular starts? The most interesting transfer could be our midfield target? Just got this feeling that it could be the one to get excited about. Conor Gallagher, Youri Tielemans or someone else? We could go bid on this if we get the right encouragement.

West Ham come to Villa Park with no points and no goals scored in three league games so far this season. They’ll be thrilled with a point here and it wouldn’t be the worst result for us either, but if we’re clinical and win the midfield, we can take the points. Would happily take a 2-1 but can see an edgy 1-1.
Martinez
Cash Chambers Mings Digne
Kamara
McGinn Luiz
Buendia
Ings Watkins
Subs: Olsen, Augustinsson, Young, Konsa, Iroegbunam, Ramsey, Bailey, Coutinho, Archer
I would personally like to see Bailey start ahead of Watkins but think Gerrard will go with the two up top who served him well in the last home game. Coutinho may take Buendia’s place I suppose but hope not. If it were me picking the team, McGinn would be benched but we know he won’t be.- 1

The problem with a round badge is everyone who wants it wants means they want the original Villa one that has hundreds of carbon copies in football. You can do it a bit different like Frankfurt/Ajax or my mock up below:
but when people say they want a ‘round badge’ it almost always means the city group template look -
Or a variation of “round” possibly? Thinking of how the Ajax badge is.- 2

I don’t like the fact the names and numbers have to be white also, as they would look better if they were yellow. Perhaps we should have had a black and white shaded shirt? It’s not for me this one.

Yes, that’s it . I thought I’d dreamt it this morning when looking for it again. Thanks.I just think it’s something that can be worked on as an initial starting point. I personally like the idea of this.

I wonder if we can just have a real simple design with just a lion and maybe the words Aston Villa somewhere? Obviously not white though.

Something to be really proud of. Fantastic.

Live comedy shows are weird. If i've had a couple of drinks and i get into the show, i'll laugh at my pretty much everything because i WILL find it funny.
Even though if i had watched the same show on TV i wouldn't have found the same jokes funny.
I'm not sure if its because of contagion of being in the same room as others laughing, or because you're focused more on the comedian or just the live effect.
I do get that, I really do and I could be totally wrong but it’s as if people are over compensating or being false by over the top laughing every single time she speaks. Just feels that way to me when she’s on any show now.Like I say, nothing against her, it’s the way people act around her that I find annoying.

Rosie Jones, Comedian. Firstly, I actually don’t find her very funny at all either doing stand up or whatever show she’s on. However, I’ve no issue with anyone who likes her comedy, jokes or whatever.
What’s annoying is when people on a show she’s on or an audience almost fall over laughing hysterically every time she speaks? It’s as though because of her disability, some people feel the need to over compensate. It’s ok not to laugh at everything she says.

A win is a win, enjoy it.
Job done, next round.

Bailey should just say to him “that’s how you do it if you didn’t know”.

Perhaps Ollie should do the business on the pitch then he wouldn’t be subbed or benched so often.
