Alex Rider - TV series. Apologies if talk of this has already been posted but has anyone watched any and is it any good?
-
Finished work now until 30 December, thank goodness. Whatever happens over the next week or so with Covid/restrictions etc, I’m going to make the best of it.

Who was that young DM everyone was certain we were in for over the summer? His name is escaping me now.
Ahhhh yessss... Papa Sarr. TRUST THE VENN DIAGRAM
Maybe we go back in for him now that Nakamba is on the shelf?
If we ever were interested, we missed out. Signed for Spurs in the summer but on loan at Metz. -

I wouldn't play Ings and Watkins in the same team.
Neither would I. -

Apart from scoring last night, Watkins was generally poor in that game as many said in the various threads. Ings got 30 minutes under his belt last night after injury to get some fitness and you can tell from Gerrard’s comments he rates him very highly, so Ings won’t be Watkins back up, he’ll be on rotation with Watkins and whoever deserves the shirt will play.
No issue at all with rotation, I just don’t want to see Watkins and Ings on the pitch together at the same time. I really think it weakens us.- 3

Let’s hope they have a real tough game this evening and get a few knocks. Ben Mee missing at the weekend would be good.
-
He just doesn’t look right when pushed out wide and it makes us totally disjointed as a team. He has to be the man to come off if we bring Ings on.

He needs to be the Watkins back up in the lone striker role. It’s really obvious now that having him and Watkins on the pitch together just doesn’t work. It makes us totally disjointed.
I suppose if he doesn’t want to be back up man, then we may need to move him on and replace but only if he pushed for a move.

Big difference is he now looks fit compared to earlier in the season. He’s a very solid and dependable full back, just not a wing back.

He’s going to the very top isn’t he and hopefully he’ll achieve most if not all his ambitions with us. I could even see him being a great England manager eventually.
It’s still very early days but we’re becoming very hard to beat and showing some real flair going forward. Long may this continue, as it’s become really enjoyable watching us again.

Lovely cameo of what he’s all about when he came on. Close control, crisp passing and a maturity to use the football well.
My only concern was the way Gabby pronounced his name last night post match? Did anyone else hear it? I had to cover my kids ears

We’ve probably used him far more than he and us were expecting. His experience on the pitch is still a useful asset.

Arsenal and Liverpool up next before playing us on 28 December. Hopefully they’ll be a demoralised outfit by the time we face them.
I don’t think they’ll go down but it’s fun seeing them struggling right now.
-
Being and staying in the top ten should be the minimum aim but now I think we should push the top seven teams all the way. It’s going to be an exciting second half to the season for sure.

Can’t see him keeping them up. They’re a poor side.
-
Sometimes his final ball is off but crikey he’s an engine.
-
He’s looking more and more confident as the season goes on. He’s also being coached by one of the very best in his position.
JJ is in dreamland right now. Just brilliant.
-
We look fitter, more organised and compact under Gerrard. At times first half we played some lovely stuff.
We’ll get better and better as the weeks roll on.
-
Just lovely that result.
First half fantastic but second half was very sloppy.

Fantastic from Chukwuemeka.
-
We’ve given them hope by not scoring a second. It’s getting frustrating this.
-
If we fail to win this, then the players need a rollicking.
-
We need to knuckle down here and get a second. It’s no party yet.

He’s without doubt our most important and biggest asset in the squad right now. Such an influence to the rest of the squad.
