I believe we are in desperate need of an creative attacking midfielder who chips in with some goals. I guess that is blatantly obvious though and everyone is after someone of that stature.

IMO MON will play either Petrov and Sidwell or NRC and Sidwell, NRC and Petrov will not often be in the same team. This is because Petrov and NRC are defensive midfielders in MON's four eyes, where as Sidwell is seen as a more attacking all round midfielder all though he is clearly not up to the grade IMO.

When Gabby stank it out!? Missed an open goal (the ball went through his legs as he tried to pass it into the net), then in the second half he ran the length of the pitch and just had to square it to someone for an open goal, but he fell over and scuffed his shot into the side netting trying to shoot IIRC. I absolutely hate players doing this, like Richardson against us. How about when Van Persie rolled it across to Fabregas in their last European game (think it was 1-1 away in Holland), thats what you like to see. Team game.

A few bigs clubs sniffing round Young this Summer for £25 odd million, don't think Jimmy would go for the same amount if he did attract any of the bigger clubs! No doubt Mili is in great form at the moment though!

What about Riquelme? I no he may be out of our league and maybe wouldn't suit the Premier League but he's an excellent talent. Getable in terms of availability by the looks of it. Riquelme

Doubt we'd get Poulsen either, Seville look like they're going to win the UEFA cup again and finish 2nd in the spanish league, so that means CL next term. Unless of course he's really keen to play in England!

When I went to Sporting Lisbon the other week (i've already mentioned a few ideas on here from that experience laready) they gave away small flags with the badge on one side and the sponsor on the other. Seemed to work well.

Just spoke to my Toffee supporting friend and he said that Barton was on their books until about 16 when they released him as they didn’t think he’d make it. Once he signed for City and started playing in the first team he made loads of fuss about how he was better that a team like Everton etc. He also got in a fight with a load of the Everton players when they were on tour. That led to the notorious “Cigar stubbed in the eye of a youth team player†incident. To be fair, you must be a certain type of person to do that as well as beat one of your team mates up, not just a slap either. His brother was also sent down as you probably know for him and a mate attacking a ‘black’ person with an axe. Apparently it was a racist attack. We really don’t need players like that at our club, seriously. Bellemy on the other hand, I feel simply has a temper and is a bit cocky for his own good. I wouldn’t grumble if we signed him. Rather sign Defoe though.
