I hear from my Everton supporting friends that he hates them and wouldn’t join. He gets absolutely slated by their fans, can’t remember the exact reason but remember he bared his ass to them earlier in the season.

Last weekend I went to watch Sporting Lisbon. I noticed a couple of interesting things. Firstly they had a massive poster right on the side of their stadium which basically had an electronic tally of tickets that were sold for that game. I think the poster translated to something like, "Are you going to stay outside or join every one else inside and get behind Sporting?" Also when I tried to buy refreshments inside the stadium, you had to buy a card/voucher (of various amounts) and then use that to pay for your items. This would firstly stop people handling as much cash as there would be only a select few people who sell the cards, also people may leave money on the cards and therefore the club may make some extra profit as away fans will obviously throw them after the game.

They also had an amazing Brazilian striker who's scored something like 30 in 30. Can't remember his name though.

Went to Lisbon last weekend and had the pleasure to watch Nani. In no uncertain terms......he is shithot. Also is Moutinho another talented midfielder.

What type of midfielder is Muntari? Defensive?

Is Boruc better than Craig Gordon as i've also heard good things about him. Would he be around the same price bracket? Are they both a similar age too?

I've just heard from a mate who knows Phil Bardsley that he could be on his way to either Blackburn or Bolton at the end of the season. He wants to stay t'up North if possible apparently. This appears to mean that MON doesn't really rate him and a move to us doesn't really seem on the cards. I'm sure if he had impressed MON he would already have a deal in place to snap him up or would at least be negotiating one for him at present. I reckon he will really have to pick up his game and show us what he can do for MON to be interested in him now. I wouldn't be bothered anyway as I think we should look for better, not sure who though.

Idnt really rate Diop that much and think we should aim for a better player for that position. There is plenty out there, I mean who had heard of Zakora of Spurs b4 they snapped him up and he looks a talent!

Where did u hear barca are willing to let him go? MON has already said he wouldn't go after him again.......although to quote Gerard Houllier in reference to Baros "Only idiots don't change their mind!"

Regarding the shirt sponser & the new era etc. I believe having no sponser for one year to mark the start of the new era would be amazing and go down in history, although I understand that there are contracts that you have to honor.

Pompey snaffle Lauren. I think he's a quality player who would have made an excellent addition to our squad. Why are many other teams snapping up these players whilst we sign no one? I believe Boa Morte, Neil, & Lauren are all excellent proven pro's who would have given us extra squad strength! I'm starting to feel like jumping on the band wagon here! What is going on?

I seriously think MON does like to keep transfers on the quiet, unlike Wet Spam who went after SWP publicly from day one!! I've read ppl moaning about loaning Bardsley but I reckon he's going to be one just to bulk the numbers up until the Summer, and he is currently after some 'big name' players. Surely he's gota b better that Hughes!? He's already said upteen times that he's seriously going to be after players in Jan.

F*ck me, I'd rather have bardsley on loan and spend the £7 million wisely in the Summer, he's no where near worth tha met, no offense. If I was paying £7 mill for a right back i'd want someone world class. Some one tell me the last right back that went for that sort of money!? I bet he was a bit better that Luke Young of Charlton!

Would love SWP thought he would have chosen West Ham over us as they seem to be on the up & are in london so doesn't need to uproot, also were on the way down the table. Today West Ham were beaten 6-0 by READING which seems to suggest they are in real trouble and doesn't make them an attractive club to join!
