    There was a story that, when William Windsor visited the England training camp, Joe Cole asked why he supported Villa and not a closer-to-home team like Chelsea. William replied along the lines of "Because I started watching football before 1999". I'm sure he never said that, but I tell all my mates that he did So yes, I vote for bringing the future King to Villa Park.

    General, I posted this on another site, I just want to make sure you see it. Please pass my regards to Lieutenant General Victor "Brute" Krulak. I read his book a couple of years ago, and it's only just struck me now he is your father. VT posters, look up "brave son-of-a-bitch with balls of steel" in the dictionary, and you'll see a picture of Brute Krulak.

    Shay won't be leaving Newcastle unless they get relegated, and even then it's probable that he would stay. As much as I would love it, I can guarantee you it'll never happen.

    Villa never sold the shares IIRC The deal was cancelled before the time when the shares would actually be issued I think not 100% sure though You may be right PB but I think there was a fuss on here or on FTT when it was alleged that Doug was using plc money to buy the shares back and thereby increase his percentage holding....

    Wasn't that Heinz? But I agree that this squad isnt too far from the one that came 6th. It also has more depth in defence than it has recently, and if we can keep Baros we'll be more than ok.
