  1. Scoring. Oliver has now failed his assignment.
  2. Zaniolo is a flipping cart horse.
  3. We should have put this to bed in the first half, but there’s no excuse for how passive we’ve been for the last 30.
  4. That was coming for a few minutes, need to score again now
  5. We look very very good going forward, could easily be 4 or 5 up. Hopefully JJ isn’t hurt badly, but Rogers really unlucky not to be in the score sheet. Their keeper having a blinder. Fancy Diaby getting a decent run out second half
  6. Good effort JJ. Think he might get one today edit: Or not…
  7. If we don’t win this game there should be an official club complaint going in for the standard of officiating. Between the Moreno goal and the pen we’ve been completely robbed today.
  8. What is the **** point of VAR? Absolute **** joke.
  9. The designers at Raytheon certainly never envisioned Patriot being used as a mobile system to conduct air ambushes. Great work by the Ukrainians.
  10. Setting off a nuke in low earth orbit would make low earth orbit unusable indefinitely. What it didn’t destroy would be destroyed over time by the accumulated debris - like the movie Gravity. It makes zero sense.
  11. It could just be an anti-satellite weapon like a new type of laser, yes. What doesn’t make sense is why, in that case, it would cause such a big flap? Countries don’t always advertise their newest weapon systems, because if the enemy doesn’t know you have it, they can’t start preparing counter measures or trying to build one of their own. We call those, secrets
  12. In fairness they can fire them now from under water, into space, and then back into the atmosphere to hit a target 1000’s of Kms away. Dropping it to earth 160km up (with a little bit of booster and guidance to re-enter the atmosphere in the right place) doesn’t seem beyond their technical capability.
  13. In a sane world, yes. But in sane world it would’ve been passed last September. Unless Trump flips to backing Ukraine, which he absolutely won’t, this probably changes nothing. The thing that’s got everyone in the US scurrying around could just be some kind of new anti-satellite system, but the scale of the flap is highly unusual, which is what makes me think it’s likely nuclear related.
  14. it might still be something that non-nuclear, but given the flap in the US that seems unlikely. If you think about space like a littoral zone that touches every part of the earth, nukes positioned in orbit are the equivalent of attacking a country from offshore but really close to its coastline. Seconds of warning before impact, zero opportunity for anti ballistic missile defences to intercept. If it is a nuclear weapon then it’s an attempt to overcome existing defences and gain a first strike advantage in any potential conflict.
