Well I'm about a quarter of the way through L79. Zul Drak's a bit mental the way it gives out XP, so hoping to ding before the weekend. I've completely cleared out Grizzly Hills, Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra, did a couple in Sholazor, but am now going to get the achievement for ZD.

It seems to be quite prevalent in the North West as a whole tbh, I know that when I lived in Wigan and Bolton, a lot of schools were either CofE or Catholic. I went to a state grammar school, but sadly they're thin on the ground these days.

You most be the oldest person playing a DK Si, I'm convinced that 99% of them are played by retarded 12 year olds. You can tell when a simpleton is in charge of a character, they can't run around without pressing the space bar to jump every three seconds, and there must be 10,000 ally DK's on Tatrren Mill jumping round like goons trying to gank anything that moves. I make a point of killng lowbie DK's whenever possible. /spit

I'm with Bicks, there's no way on earth that I'd send my kids to a school that was aligned with a particular religion. My wife's sister has just had their eleven year old christened so he could get into a god bothering school, sheer hypocrisy if you ask me.

Paladins are almsot equally ridiculous at the moment, you really don't want to get in range of one of those. As with DK's, my melee is pretty useless against them, and my spell power isn't high enough to make killing them from distance very easy. I consider it a victory if I can scarper and not die now, which thankfully, I at least have the abbilities to do. Spirit Walk when I've got the Spirit Wolves out is a very, very nice ability.

Deathknights ARE ridiculous. I'm nearly L79 now, and it's just not worth trying to gank one that's say, L74 or higher, or you'll just end up dead. In happier news, I've just noticed that when I hit L80, I get to sheep (well, "frog") people, which will be most fun, and something I intend to spend a lot of time doing!

I'm not gpoing to be raiding in the Dashers. Was thinking about it, but the fact that Gone seems to be organising it was the final nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned.

That is so underhanded and despicable. Great stuff. How is that possible though? Isn't it impossible to skin until the mob has been looted? Yes, but the quest was to sprinkle some ashes on its corpse. The pally looted it, and before he could sprinkle the ashes (which was a like a 3-4 second job), I skinned it. Got an acrtic fur too, which was nice!

How to piss off a questing ally - after he's manfully killed a 3 man elite boss, skin it before he can complete the quest!

Any time you like matey, weekend would be good. Can you craft any decent 1 hand axes or maces by the way Si, preferrably speed 2.6 if poss. If you can, can you link to the mats on Thotbot or somewhere please mate. Ta.

On R5 this morning, they interviewed a dad whose son had been placed on the DNA database even though he hadn't commited a crime. He'd been arrested by mistake, which the police acknowledged, but they still insisted on a DNA sample which they said they would take by force if it wasn't given voluntarily. Apparently Liberty took up the case, and threatened to take the case through the courts, but happily, the police backed down and agreed to destroy the sample, as well as copies of the lad's fingerprints. For a hypothetical example of how the DNA database could infringe on a person's liberties. Say a piece of your hair for whatever reason is amongst the samples that are found at the scene of a crime. The police then arrive to question you, while you're in an important meeting trying to close a deal, or at your daughter's wedding, or any one of a thousand situations where it would be embarrassing/expensive to be arrested and taken off to the police station to prove that you couldn't have commited the crime.

Ah bugger it! Just did the world exploration achievement, which allows you to pick "....the Explorer" as your replacement for Stone Guard or Jenkins etc. I'll leave you to guess what I was going to change my name to, only to find somebody had beaten me to it (hint: I have a three year old daughter!)

Shouldn't take me long to get to L80 now. Super fast mounts means it takes no time to do all the lowbie q's I didn't do initially, did about 500K of XP in an hour this morning.

Yep, pretty good actually. Loved the dragons burning the place up at the end, then you're left with everybody screaming in agony on the battlefield. Nice!

Check it out, best quest ever. Think it might start in the dragon tower. Don't remember them inserting a film in the game ever before, other than when you start a new character of course.

Has anyone else done the "Battle of Undercity" quest yet. I though the game had crashed earlier, but it was a little trailer-like cut scene showing a battle between Sylvanas and the Lich King. You then get ported to UC where you have to retake the city from the Scourge. Great fun.

I don't understand how hard it would be for a shaman to hold a sword. It's bigger than a dagger, but smaller than an axe, so what gives?

Ace fun that Si. Dual wielding 2 handers makes you a bit just a little bit mental. Bit upset we needed to call in J for that 5 man dragon that Nays soloed though!
