Just came in to post what Davies4England put on the previous page. Have to say in a way it is great that France are in the WC because they are making an absolute show of themselves. A proper disgrace. Playing staff and non-playing staff. On and off the pitch. It is hard to write a script that makes things go any worse for a nation at a world cup. Thoroughly deserved and thoroughly enjoyable to watch. To think there's even proper bullying going on now too. Just goes to show you. Even the French hate the French Utterly contemptible species And just in case the reader doesn't know. I've hated them loooooong before the playoff. TonyH will confirm this :nod:

Kuyt scores goals, creates goals, as you say gets through an enormous shift and is a quality footballer with a good brain. As with Park Ji-Sung, I find very little to dislike about Dirk Kuyt. I even find his quasimodo face amusing.

This is what will happen. Leeds, simply by virtue of being one of the biggest (if not the biggest) teams in the Championship, will have players dying to play for them. They'll be up in a few seasons.

I've been ticking off my list of 'films you have to watch'. It was on that list and was one of the more disappointing ones to be honest. As opposed to the Great Escape which was also on the list but was very very good.

I see Riquelme closing in on a move to West Ham. Would've loved to see him here in his prime. He's never been about the pace but I'd say; like Deco; he'll probably sparkle briefly then be forgotten.

Quaresma is exactly what Ronaldo would have become if he had never progressed as a footballer. I imagine Quaresma could probably do keepy-uppies for an entire day non-stop. It's **** all use on a football pitch though. Quaresma is to football what Evel Knievel would have been to MotoGP.
