  1. !!!! Sorry that made me laugh. Kewell is lazier, as much as a diver (anyone remember Derby away circa 2000, last minute to win a pen, the defendeer was a good yard away from him) and hasn't got Boa Morte's pace. Plus I think he's older.
  2. He's ok, would give us something different

    Sunglasses

Probably not, but they're better than nothing and are an improvement on squinting

What are they, magic sunglasses? I can't imagine paying that much for any fashion accessory
  5. It's not asking if he's good/bad, it's whether, all things considered, it's a good or bad signing. Surely you must have an opinion on that?
  6. He can play all across the back and was cheap; a good signing
  7. "Langham has left the Midlands outfit, with the club citing a difference of opinion regarding Villa's future direction as the reason for his departure." That's the only reason that's been given out anywhere so far, could mean anything

Get some from Poundland, they've got enough choice so you can find some that don't make you look like a tosser, and only cost £1 (surprisingly)
  9. Bellamy and Hughes, both would add vital competition for places
  10. Now we've got Berger we should make a raid on good Czech players; Rosicky, Galasek, Jankulovski, Drobny...
  11. The old ones are the best ones, Monseuir Nibbles
  12. The McCartney kids are at the family ranch anxiously awaiting news of their mother. Paul emerges from his wife's bedroom "Kid's.... there's good news and bad news." "The bad news is your mother's strength and will to live has been sucked away by her awful disease and she died a few moments ago" "The good news is.... It's steak and chips for dinner!"
  13. I pretty much agree with all of that. And my housemate is a Norwich fan, and he's a total cock
  14. My house got burgled by a bunch of gays the other night - they broke in and rearranged all the furniture. That's not olden, it's golden
  15. Writing Stead off is a bit harsh - he came from the 4th division and performed excellently helping to keep them up, and is playing in a truly shite Blackburn team this year. He's still their 4th top scorer (behind Dickov, Pedersen and Emerton.)
  16. I'm sure Delia could be persuaded to part with him - imagine how many bottles of sherry £4million would buy
  17. Joaquin could well be the extra 1 he's on about. He's also after a LB and a striker, wonder if he fancies JLloyd and Luke Moore for a combined £20mil?
  18. I also said: "The Champions league run has rescued what would otherwise have been a bad season for Liverpool." "Luckily the Champions league has been there to cover this up." "League form - awful season Champions league form - excellent season Overall? It would be strange to say that a Champions league finalist had had a bad season, but regardless of whether they beat Milan or not, in the domestic league they have underachieved" Anyway yes, let's leave it at this, get the thread back onto JPA
  19. I've not said they've had an awful season, I've said that the Champs league has masked what would otherwise have been an awful season. Yes at the moment they're (probably) not good enough to challenge the top 3, but they certainly should've been comfortably ahead of Everton and Bolton, injuries or no injuries
  20. That's rubbish, there is no way that Liverpool should only be challenging Bolton, Everton, Boro etc with the players they have and the money they've spent. They've had a shocking league season. Thank you for what? Because Ligs made a point that doesnt really say much? You said, in your slightly provocative way ( ) that Liverpool had a bad season. Now I think you will find thats not exactly the case. Even your mate Ligs said that the champions league run helped them, which seems to say it wasnt a bad season.. League form - awful season Champions league form - excellent season Overall? It would be strange to say that a Champions league finalist had had a bad season, but regardless of whether they beat Milan or not, in the domestic league they have underachieved
  21. I always preferred De Joker If he's young and Dutch he'll probably end up at Spurs
