  1. Yeah I'm aware that his highlight video is just gonna show his good play but it's not a given that a highlight video will show him popping up all over the place. Would a highlight video of Hutton show him popping up all over the pitch?

    Yes

  2.

I know it's just a youtube reel of his best bits but one thing that impressed me is that he pops up all over the pitch and looks like a dangerous player on the break.  sign him up Lambo!

it is a video of his highlights, of course he pops up all over the pitch.

Hutton could be made to look like Cafu on the youtubes

So the manager says Tonev has been left at home because he is nursing an injury but people still act like they know better than the manager just to prove a point rather than dealing with facts....

Aren't both Benteke and Kozac both carrying injuries too but they went to states?

I think this shows Tonev is no where near the first team squad.

Or that his injury is such that he isn't fit enough to travel or benefit from the trip and is better at BMH. While the other two are returning to training and at a completely different stage of recovering from injury.

Yes Benteke is 3 to 4 months off being fit and can just about run/jog but he is better off sitting on a plane for 10 hours so he can jog in Dallas and Tonev who is nursing an injury is better off at home? That makes real sense to me? Where did the nursing an injury come from?

Want some more straws to clutch at?

  4. at avoiding drugs tests or knowing how to use Twitter?

Maybe about inspiring youngsters from deprived areas to better themselves?

As a kid from a council estate, who went on to be one of the players in his position of his generation, win numerous league titles, cups, and a Champions league. I would say he has something to offer.

It is a quiet day so people need something to moan about.

  6.

Cardiff bought Cornelius for £6billion and sold him on 6 months later for a fraction.

Liverpool paid £7m for Aspas and have loaned him out.

Chelsea spent £9m on Moses and loaned him out.

Palace spent £6m on Gayle and he won't get a look in this year

Fulham spent £11m on Mitroglou, won't get their money back on that one.

Norwich £8.5 on Van Wolkswinkel, won't get their money back on that one.

Southamton £15m on Osvaldo, won't get their money back on that one.

Sunderland spent £6m on Altidore, won't get their money back on that one.

Fulham spent £4.5m on Parker, won't get their money back on that one.

Most of those clubs will have to pay off those players just to leave I would imagine. We took a couple of punts, it didn't work out. So stop being ridiculous.

Cardiff got robbed for Cornelius at that price....

The price goes up everytime I hear the story :)

I think it was £11m the last time.

  8. Why would he take a paycut

He was player of the season last season and was exceptional for the majority of it

If you did the equivalent in an average job you would feel entitled to a payrise

It's not his fault he was offered ridiculous wages before above what he should have been earning at that stage of his development

If you want to progress you have to keep your best players and Delph is one of the best midfielders we have at the club

I am not saying he should take a pay cut, I just think that is the wage the wage bill has been going.

  9. I think t

    £8M is **** all in today's market.
    Are you living in 1995?

Were Benteke and Okore bought in 1995?

No manager in the world can pull of signings of that value every summer though.

  10. Do you really think Rio needs the money? :D

Good luck to him, I wouldn't want him as his legs went a long time ago and he was exposed in a decent united side, yet alone a poor QPR one.

At least he wants to continue playing, fair play to him, because QPR Is a shithole compared to most division 2 clubs, yet alone the biggest in the country.

  11. Cutting costs, running the club like a business, attempting to make the club after years and years and years of mismanagement and spending behind their means, self sufficient.

    What a mad bastard.

  12. There's a host of players at big clubs who won't get any game time because of squad size. Isco will get less minutes than last year after Real's buys so why not ask the question of a loan? Apparently he's one of the most talented players of his generation yet isn't a regular for club or country. Big clubs don't tend to loan to each other and if a player is that good they won't want to sell so loaning out is the best option for player and club. Everton loaned Lukaku and Deulefou both talented players and one cost £17m so it does happen why can't it happen to us?

Lukaku (teenager)came off the back of playing for West Brom, not a Chelsea starter by any means and Deulefou (teenager) had never played top flight football before so I can see them both being loaned out for experience.

Isco, on the other hand is a Spanish international footballer that cost €30m and played over 50 games for REAL MADRID last year just about to enter his prime years.

Can nobody see how ridiculous this notion is?

We are signing free transfers like Senderos, Cole and nominal fees for Richardson and people seriously think :

    1. We would pay a loan free in the millions ( As everton did for Lukaku)

    2. Pay £50k+ for a player who won't be here next year.

    3. That is even if he would join us, he would pretty much have his pick of any club in fricking Europe.

    This is madness.
