Labour are calling a no confidence vote this week. I think they have to as the Tory's have all but given up actually governing the country as they scramble for the top job.
Now we get to watch the Tory's vote that they have confidence in a person that they have very clearly said they have no confidence in and cannot allow to continue.
I have no doubt that the confidence vote won't pass, as it only serves the country rather than the personal interests of the conservative part MP's.

Whilst they play to their base with fairy tales and fascism, they seem to think the rest of us can't see what they are doing.

I cheered when Dion headbutted Robbie Savage, so I'm not gonna lob any stones round my glass house.

Is there one of them that seems to have even a passing awareness of the crisis that is the NHS at the moment? Everything I have seen so far is utterly detached from reality.

I can't believe he is still out front, what he is doing is bordering on ridiculous.

Sunak has some nerve. Speaking of offering people the same opportunities his family had as he helped strip them away. Saying let's rebuild the economy like he hasn't been directly incharge of it for the last 3 years. He wants to restore trust and rebuild integrity from a man who would replace the first criminal PM with a person who committed the exact same crime, supported the same lies and who's campaign video is littered with bs and gaslighting.
There isn't a good choice in the Tory party, but this word removed can **** right off.

Does it make it sound any better if, instead of a frisbee, you know that that is almost certainly either Sauron or one of the wizards?
Edit- scratch that it's Sauron. Wizards aren't until third age.
Nope. Not bothered what they are supposed to be looking at if the ultimate effect is that you can see the 'acting' happening. It has all the intensity of what it is, a bunch of people in costume looking at a tennis ball on a stick. It just looks so cheap. The only way this can be saved is by some really high quality writing, as they don't seem to have spent the budget on how the thing looks. I suspect, sadly, that all the budget went on the IP.

What a prick.

F me it looks like they went to a convention, got a load of people in cosplay and told them to watch a frisbee go across the room.

F me, I hope not. Don't need anyone with that much hate in them given any more power. She will have goose stepping military parades through London, proper little Fascist that one.

Shame it's over. It's stopped me desperately refreshing the transfer thread for the last few days
Don't worry, it's not over. We have until Sept for Boris to float the idea that maybe he won't step down as PM. The nutcase still thinks he as done nothing wrong and is just being done over unfairly. I agree with Cummings, he is playing for time and will absolutely jump at any chance he can get to hang on.

No sympathy at all for those who backed him over and over. They even had the VONC and still chose to keep him.
The lack of foresight is staggering. There was no other possible ending.

Looking at the numbers it seems that this year the USA has lost more people to gunfire that the Ukraine has lost to a homicidal maniac trying to wipe them from the face of the earth. Not so easy to quantify as sources differ, but on average the numbers are similar at least

Loved this race. Had it all. Big crash, but everyone is ok, wheel to wheel racing seemingly throughout, overtaking for days, safety car, tactical decisions both good and bad, deserved winner. So glad I got home to watch it live.

Oh boy, I had not even considered that! I wouldn't count anything out at this stage, but could you imagine the scenes?
