Stop being dramatic people. A CB group of Vlaar, Okore, Senderos and The Chuckle Brothers isn't too bad. If we were to get in a strong CB, eg. Lescott, it would be a really strong group.

Great article and agree with most of it I would see LW, as opposed to RW, being a position to fill (Charlie likes to play on the right). I also think that we should bite the bullet and sell The Fonz and buy in a new Striker. Carroll fits the mould as he offers something that Bent and Gabby don't, but he wouldn't play every game, so I don't think it'll be him. These signings aren't greedy as I can see Hutton, Collins, Warnock, Makoun (unfortunately), Delph (loan) and The Fonz going. Good read!

General, Time to appointment a proper manager and invest some proper funds to get a proper team - don't you agree? Kevin seems a good man and should be allowed to go back and do what he's obviously good at doing - coaching. If he was managerial calibre he'd have been a manager by now. Let's not have the usual vague response - let's have some action before our season ends before it's even started. That was humiliating.

I still think we need a Striker to replace Heskey - somebody who actually scores goals. A CM for Sidwell would be great also, as we only have Petrov, NRC and an injured Delph (I'd regard Ireland as too attacking a midfielder).
