Poch is certainly an upgrade on SG but you see things like why would he come to us ?

It's 4 years since he left Spurs  , where he didn't win anything he came 2nd in the league cup , the league and Champs league .Did one season at PSG and was booted out.For us that's a solid record but for the so called  big clubs are they all that interested in him ? I would counter he needs a club to rebuild himself as much we need a solid manager who has basics like tactics .

We have spent nothing this summer in relative terms.....when we all know we need about 3/4 quality players......and after the initial signings, we have sat on our hands.

I was led to believe, it was going to be a bullish transfer window, and it has turned out false.

We could of spent zero this Summer and we still should be able to manage more than a bobbled shot on target against Bournmouth who are clearly rubbish .Also maybe we haven't spend much as we allowed him Money for the Jan spend as well as wages .

If this was 20 games or so in and we were hovering around 10th and not able to compete for a Euro place then yes lack of quality player's is justifiable and not on SG.Only beating 3 teams in 15 games 2 of them relegated now is not good enough. I'll accept the squad isn't good enough for top 6-8 but it shouldn't be near the bottom 3 .

Well he signed Carlos ,Digne , Coutinho and Kamara who started against Bournmouth and we lost ..are we staying all starting 11 need to be his players before he is judged ?

Whose fault is it that Digne defending at times is horrific ..Digne or the manager who wanted him and had us pay 25mil plus and high wages ..

Ings has scored every team he has been at and Watkins has got into double figures in the league , how many chances are they missing ? Pace ..Bailey who rarely plays as the manager prefers to have his full backs create the width. Who can stay on ball like Jack ? I assume that what was what he brought in Coutinho to do ..

The club will take a holistic view, and I'd be very surprised if replacements aren't already being sounded out. Especially with the apparent unrest in the dressing room on top of results and fan pressure. A result against Leicester or Southampton won't be enough to save him. I mean, it would be the first time a manager gets the boot after a win. He's already gone - the club are just deciding when. 

Started season aiming for Europe , so I don't think getting a result against one of the few teams below us is going to be enough. I don't think we will beat City or Arsenal but worse I suspect one or both is going to batter us inflicting more of a confidence hit on a team that looks all over the place as it is .

We have been here so many times as Villa fans there is no coming back for SG at this point

That Percy article is confusing , untill the last Paragraph it would all point to him being sacked then it goes on to say no desire to replace him..

The only desire not to replace him comes from Purslow who should also be shown the door for SG appointment and the **** of a transfer policy post Jack 

He isn't a deep sitting MF and the system we are playing stops him being close enough to the opposition box to score or create. Ramsey has also fallen off the cliff being played on the left as well.Being made captain has clearly not helped his game either.

To interested in his own ego and basking the limelight , bringing in SG is the same as when he brought Cole to Liverpool all about showing off the big names.Our transfer policy is being shown up , didn't Jesus slate Purslow when he left for interfering ?

CEO's make mistakes with managers all the time , just look at the how many clubs change manager but in SG he clearly went for the big name and the transfer's that followed are the same.The Owners need to call him out on it , it's their cash he is wasting 

 Was one of best players in preseason , turned the game against United. Has done ok when starting but SG instance on trying to get Coutinho in team is leaving both Leon and Emi b sidelined , no wonder he wants out.Butler loves the attention clearly but he isn't wrong here and I bet others feel the same.

I don't think you can play a 3 with Ramsey / McGinn to start with but having them on the wrong side for their stronger foot doesn't help ! 

Fundermentally as per pix above this isnt just about players it's the coaching and tactics .They are playing in the positions intstructed that's the key issue.

Frankly I find it unbelievable we are apparantly letting him spend more money after this shambles.He is Bruce MK2 buy buy buy .

The mf 3 are a mess and for someone who played that position with some distinction how he can't see this I don't know.You can't play that 3 in those positions.McGinn is miles to deep to be effective long gone is the McGinn who gets forward and creates or scores .Now he is left sitting deep on the right side attempting to float balls cross pitch to Digne .

Talking of I'm becoming more convinced he is not that much of a step up on Targett and for 25mip plus is he really the best LB we could of gotten ..great scouting .

Ramsey great running with the ball ,hamped like McGinn being on the wrong side but the issue is in this formation you need mf calmer on ball.

Defence all over the place ,Konsa is miles off his best perhaps coming back from injury too quickly ..Set pieces we look nevery as hell 

Under Smith we would ,especially post Jack go direct to Watkins running into a channel from a lump from Mings and here we are almost a year later and still doing it .What identity has SG put on this team exactly ..It you had been locked on a space station for a year with no news and came and watched this game you would have no clue we had changed manger

If he is talking about Gabby gets him to avoid the 4 point cushion City have on him and his new Star striker headbutting a player and getting a Red on his debut .It's deflection from Klopp. Also if your in a team that got batterd  6 nil and were useless you probably are an expect in not putting in a shift and know the signs ..

Generally I find Gabby a nob but Klopp is also a huge bellend most of the time
