Best game for us by far. His strength was really useful today and used the ball well.

Yes ,we played alot of long balls out to him and he out muscled White continually.

Got better as game went on.

It will change with sustained success in fairness, it's just been a long time.  I'd be more confident of we can get a win against Bournemouth, just nervous as our form has dipped quite a bit recently.

The concern from most I would say is that we have lost key players .We have to  play the next 2 with basically 2 senior CMS who will also have to play away at Lille.

Hopefully Cash is back at least so we can get Konsa back to CB.

Shame it comes so quick after Lille away and Dougie suspended. Makes me less confident than I otherwise would be.

Agreed ,unoticed is Bournmouth are 4th in  form league over last 2 games matching us.

Tough game for United away there today hopefully

Newcastle form inconsistent but I suppose they could catch us..

4th in the Form league behind the current top 3.As it was I merely said they look more of a threat to overtake us than United ! Not that they would.

Ill say from watching Spurs fh against Forrest and today they are giving me renewed hope for 4th anyway.

Don’t want to jump on the Haaland is shite bandwagon but he really has been crap tonight.

Does nothing if not scoring ,which I know sounds simplistic but they are almost playing we 10 men he doesnt hold it up or bring others into game well.

You should tell Pep and Arteta that.

In Arteta case White has played RB permently.Konsa is literally swapping positions from game to game it's bound to effect positional sense ,not to mention the 2cbs also keeps changing.

I think Konsa needs to do more to stop the balls in yesterday but the 2 in middle where no where.

Fh the issues was Bailey was doubled up on and Konsa offered no support.

Man Utd are far from finished. They always raise their game against Liverpool and then they have 4 games which they should win all of. Spurs also have the advantage of a lighter fixture list and a fully fit squad.
We on the other hand are limping over the line and I wouldn’t back us to beat anyone at the moment. We should however limp to another six points. That would leave Utd needing 19 point from 8 matches to overtake us. That’s highly unlikely but with their fixtures it is possible.

The reality is though, we will finish  somewhere between 4th and 6th. I think it will probably be 5th but I really think that 6th is more likely than 4th. At the start of the season, we would all have taken a 6th place finish and thus whatever happens we will have had a brilliant season.

Now, with my glass half filled we are still in Europe. We are still in the Champions League hunt. We still have a brilliant manager. Maybe we have had our bad spell and we are going to fly again for the rest of the season. Let’s hope so. UTV. COYVB. SOTC.

I have watched both United's last 2 games there where appalling.Liverpool may have let in slip on cup but I don't see them doing the same tomorrow especially as United are threadbare in defence.

As for winnable games ,they lost to Fulham at home who have gone on to lose to Newcastle ,Forrest and drawn at Shef United conceding 3 goals in process.

Spurs are a much bigger worry than United IMO

The catastrophe fpr some posters is incredible, I guess it's how they deal with things not going there way.

    We're currently in 4th place.

Spurs still have to play Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

I'd rather have the points on the board.

Some of the comments I've seen on social media I don't know how people coped back in the Mcliesh/Lambert days.

It's annoying to not win especially when 2 nil up but there is disappointed / frustrated and there there is stuff like "that's the most shameful half of football I've seen " .

For me we missed Cash , both going forward and in defence the goals all started from that side .I'd need to see them again to see where the blame goes for those in the middle ,the first one is a pure fluke mind you he missed the ball hit is standing leg and went in.

Arsenal is going to be tough without Dougie but think people also need to take into account there are under pressure now. They can't afford to lose and they will be big favs.I said before it's that wierd result period of season ,bournmouth where one of form teams and got done by Luton today.

  9. Good to be where we are now with the points. Its now that crazy time where odd results happen.Lool at Fulham as example. They beat United and Spurs then have conceded 6 goals and taken a point from Shef United and Forrest !

United have 3 fit defenders it seems so hopefully Chelsea can pull off one of their random good results and do us a favour.

  10. The article ignores us and Spurs because it's mocking Man U for being in situation where a player they spent millions on and is costing them 100'a of 1000's a week still could stop them getting into Europe. It's not a slight on us or Spurs

Yep fair enough, forgot that one. Still, not enough from him to warrant keeping him unfortunately

I don't think we will keep him ,but given how short we are now he still can offer something till end of season.

The sheff utd equaliser aside, i'm struggling to think of any positive impact he's had this season. He's been a really poor signing.

    Goal against Zrinjski Mostar ?

I too am not looking to systems to blame.....we are engaging in too many individual errors in games lately...why? I don't know.

I look at the players demeanor at times, and I am not convinced, they are up for it.

I watched Bailey yesterday, show immaturity, drifting around, towards the action,  leaving cash to deal with Johnson and Udogie on his own.

When they are in this mood, like they have been recently at home.....I'm not sure, I like this team.

Sure we can all cling to 4th for comfort....this team in its current mood is not playing anything like 4th place football.

I think Unai has a real challenge on his hands, not to just improve the team.....but to sustain, what he has already created.

Mostly with this , the system didn't cause the goals it was bad errors , especially the 2nd one from Konsa.

McGinn red card then puts it  all to bed.

Unai may say we were not tired but I think thats a press answer and him not looking for excuses. Olly and Luiz both look off the pace. I note West Ham who played Thursday as well almost lost to Burnley so that midweek game does take it's toll especially when you can not rotate.

Also not Spurs started season flying then lost player's and slipped down. Most will point at Madison being out but Van der Ven missing from defence caused their system to crumble. Kamara is the same with us , we have gotten by without him alot of time by skin of our teeth ( Luton ) but we have not hit the highs we had earlier in season with him out.

Bloke looks completely fatigued and no sign of a rest given the injuries and suspension. Him and Tielemans are going to be run into the ground.
