For me, the injuries today are more worrying than the result. We could be playing Sheffield Wednesday at Villa Park with a bench full of kids - and our kids aren't great.

Apparently it was built on the site of the steel factory that made all of the New York fire hydrants.

And if we don't, then I think it would be foolish to ignore the injuries as one of the reasons why we wouldn't have - we've got a full back playing at left wing - I want to win, I think we can and I think we will - but I don't think you can ignore the problems we've got right now.

To be fair to him, it's not like he's been out there kicking our players into injury - we're without twelve of our twenty eight first team squad players. Of the sixteen that are left, ten are goalkeepers or defenders.

He's come on there about half a dozen times and never looked comfortable - he's really good from an attacking perspective when he's got the game in front of him, but he looks uncomfortable further up the pitch. Hopefully he can do well.

Amavi coming on by the sounds of things - he's not a good left midfielder - he's our third of the game and our fourth in the last hour of football.

Grealish injured - this is an absolute disaster - we've now got to change the shape. The squad is in bits.

So, we're the better side by a distance and we're currently struggling because of our number one problem this season - we don't score goals. The stoppable force versus the movable object. I'm hoping for something a little flukey.

Bjarnason injured - we now have every fit player over the age of 19 that isn't a defender out on the pitch.

Adomah clean through - could have squared it, had a go - keeper makes a save. We should be out of sight by now.

Is this on the radio anywhere today? It's not on WM other than DAB and you can't get the DAB online due to the way the contracts are set and it's not on TV anywhere - I have a feeling it's just us and the BBC live text. That's the worst coverage of a Villa game I can remember in the last ten years.
