Surprised you say you followed the game on the internet every 2 mins General. Why don't you open an account with VillaWorld and listen to the game online? I know the commentary on the Villa site can be something of a joke at times...but it's still a better option than watching a website for any updates.

Still believe MON is a top manager....but i think a poll on his transfer dealings would have been a lot more interesting! Because our lack of transfer dealings this summer has been almost laughable and very unprofessional.

General, I'm sure this as been asked before. I know the board are looking to improve many aspects of the club and many things have been addressed in the first year. One thing i would implead for improvement are the matchday commentaries on VillaWorld. For those of us who are living abroad, this is the only way we can usually listen to a match. However the standard of the commentary is so poor we often have no idea what is going on. Commentary has also been known to disappear! I know the board are trying to improve the villa experience for all fans...please improve the matchday experience for those fans who can't get to Villa Park!

Just seen we've been linked with Nakamura now. I admit i haven't seen Celtic a lot, but i would be very disappointed if we were to sign him. Reminds me of Hitzlsperger when he was here...a one trick pony. Sure, he'll get you a few goals from free kicks during the season, but apart from that, i never notice Nakamura contributing much else during games... Does MON think his Celtic team was the dogs bollocks or what?? Why don't we just come right out and ask them to become our feeder club? Can understand why he sgned Sutton and Agathe...we were desperate for players at the time; but now we have the money and we have the time to go and find the players who have the quality or potential to really get us pushing up the league. C'mon MON, give bloody Celtic a rest. You're in a competitive league now and you won't find too many players up there to take us forward!

I was well impressed with the first one, who i can't remember But the 2nd guy really surprised me - Ribery (I don't think this dream will come true!). Then we were lining up against Man Ure, and though they were still favorites, i was thinking we had a decent chnce to get something with our summer signings. P.S. I know i'm a sad git! :winkold:

I think his move to Boro at the peak of his career after being so obviously tapped up is far more despicable than moving to sha at the death knell of his career. Been plenty of ex-Villa players move to sha in their time, including some bloke who goes by the name of Dennis Mortimer, don't hate him too do you? I don't automatically detest former villains if they end up at Blues. I just think Boateng as really treated us with contempt at times. Not only how he walked out on us, but also how he as performed on the pitch against villa on a few occasions. Who was it he got sent off a few seasons back?(i have a shit memory)...cheating git!

The BBC's gossip column are reporting a story in the Mirror that the Blues are leading the chase for Boateng... I know it's probably a load of bollocks with it being the Daily Mirror....but boy, boateng would be absolutely hated by Villa fans if he were to ever make that move!
