We arnt quite the same levels of rich though because we still have a weak squad and awful bench.

Anyone else getting slightly frustrated with how football works though? Be a badly run club with awful players but then a sugar daddy comes in and you can instantly buy ballers like Trippier who can make a difference. Or you can be Man City - terrible club always being relegated - get bought and now look at them. These big take overs are ruining everything with no level playing field.

Well, Chambers was a well class signing wasn’t he? Not. Must be nice to be Newcastle and have the funds to buy class like Trippier.

Anyone else have a really blown up sense of rivalry in their head with Everton? It comes from the 2009/2010 period when we were always battling them for 5th place. That and the fact we lost the day I travelled all the way up to Goodison to watch us play them in the FA Cup in 2009. The train back home was unbearable with their fans and cocky songs. rocket polishers. Anyway, ever since then I’ve hated them and always enjoy beating them that little bit more than other teams. The rivalry has been stoked even more after today’s bottle incident.

Had Rafa still been in charge I’d have bet my Mortgage on the win but honestly there’s part of me worried that Big Dunc is going to put a firework in their souls today. And don’t forget our unique trait of always being the team to end other teams poor runs. Either way, it’s nice to go into games hoping for a win rather than expecting a loss

It’s amazing games like this that make me so gutted about how hard it is to get tickets to VP these days! I tried so hard to get tickets to this but to no avail! Think I’m going to get myself a membership so I don’t miss out

I think the most delicious thing about this was how cocky the United fans were being and the fact we shut them up. Worst bunch of fans on earth.

I’m gonna say it. Watkins really isn’t very good and Grealish very much made him look better than he actually is. There. Said it.

I don’t think I’ve been more underwhelmed by a signing than Danny Ings. Was so excited for him. Even got him on the back of my shirt. But he has been as effective as a chocolate teapot.
