in termd of football management ive always found the LMA series to be the best.
in terms of war management, i always really liked empire earth, age of empires 3, age of mythology (titan expansion or not its still great, some sweet online play too) i would reccomend any of these 3 they are all fantastic
I have all those,I dont like Age Of Mithology but out of that type of game I liked Rise Of Nations the best.Great game with good mods,check it out if you can
wierdly never heard of it, but if you have all of those games, i trust your judgement!
will definatly be checking it out.

I like instrumental music ( especially drums or trumpet ) and you can't beat the 60's music, you still hear it today quite often.

I must admit that to start with I thought that McStupid was just a manager that was not very good and a bit ignorant about real football.But after hearing about how he slings off at the players and the fans I have changed my opinion of him.Now I think he is an Arsehole

My missus has been getting shit from her ex for 2 years, he even keyed my car when I moved in thinking it ws hers. And I mean badly - every panel was **** and it needed a total respray.
So I had a word with a neighbour to tip me off if he ever appeared again, and a few weeks later I got a call that he was outside and had been looking over the fence.
I went out with an iron bar and smashed his window in while he sat in the car. He shat himself and sped away...only later did I find out he went directly to Plod to report me...they took his statement then ARRESTED HIM for drunk driving!
Second DD ban in 7 years and now the prick can't get his license back until a doctor says he's not an alkie (which he definitely is).
I call that karma :-)
Oh and this retard is SIXTY ONE years old. Some people never grow up.

You did the right thing by confronting him the very next time you saw him and smashing his car windows.
The way I see it is that all that swearing back and forth ( like in the first post ) does nothing.
1-He pisses you off
2-you say something to him
3- Anything else apart from an apology and you smack him right there.
So at the stage you are at right now, I would say leave it and leave it if you see him on the street as well.BUT if he comes around again, for anything at all hit him first and hit him hard.
The last thing I would do is go around to his place,I mean that way you are meeting him in his teritory.
Also going to the police won't do any good as they can't do anything without proof and stuff like that

I read some posts on a couple of other Villa forums,just out of curiosity and they both had a AMC thread,they also both have a season ticket thread.I did'nt count the number of posts or anything like that but reading them you get the impression that well over 90% of supporters want McStupid out and on the ST thread it seems that about 60% are seriously thinking about not renewing their ST"s.
So I would say that VP will be a pretty desolate place next season.

All started with Heskey. Lerner was furious with this signing and that's when the fall out began.

Can someone please explain to me,what the **** is going on here ?
The way I see it is that you buy a Football club for 1 of 2 reasons.
1-to be a successful club,winning trophies and cups etc. In other words for the prestiege
2- to make money
Now the way I see it is that MON spent 65 $$$$ and got us on the threshold of european football,but when he asked for a bit more $$$ so that we could cross that threshold and compete in europe on a regular basis he was refused. So Lerner is obviously not in it for the prestiege
Now by appointing a manager like McStupid we are losing points, we are losing supporters and we are losing money,also if McStupid stays for any length of time we will probably lose our Premier league status as well which means losing even more money. So Lerner is not in it for the money.
So what the **** is Lerner trying to achieve ????

Relegation?Well maybe not this year,not because we avoided it,but we were lucky to have teams who are worse than us,hard to believe but true.
Next season under the current regime i believe we will start in the bottom three and remain there until we ARE relegated.
Their has to be a change in the way we play games or next season will define this clubs future,we dont want to be the next Leeds or Forest.

Everyone thought they'd beat a Bolton team still upset and they were awful in the first half as they were against us.
Still go to play the likes of Manure and Liverpool at home and swansea and Spurs away. Their final two games of the season are Wigan at home and Chelsea away aswell.
The difference between Blackburn and us is that at least Blackburn give it a go.Under McDipstick all we do is give it up

Not sure if it has mentioned already, but i was listening to BRMB before the game and Tom Ross interviewed him and he said something like. We can not go to Arsenal and play that would be sucide the only team that could do that is Swansea. Then this is what i find hard to take. He says "Why dont we play like swansea then, well we dont have the type of players swansea have." or something to that affect. I am not sure what the Swansea team cost or what the wages are, but what we spent in the summer should almost cover it. How would Ireland, Bannan etc feel hearing that that are not good enough to try and play. The truth is he does not have a clue how the set up to play.
That's a load of bollocks as well.
Its nothing to do with the players that Swansea have.As far as I am concerned Mc Dipstick could manage Man U,Man C or even Barcelona but under his management they would be fighting relegation.

If he said we can't expect anything against Arsenal then the word removed better get on the phone to the FA and ask them to cancel the games against Chelsea, United and Spurs. Why should we bother turning up!? We might as well have those weeks off because we probably shouldn't be expected to get anything from those games either! Twunt!

The way he manages the team we cant expect anything from Wigan,Blackburn,Bolton,Stoke etc etc etc.
In fact I will be surprised if we can get a win against Notts Co or Walsall in the pre season.

He must of meant a McLeish managed side winning at Arsenal.
We have the best record at their stadium of any team.
I'm embarresed to say I turned off the stream after we went 2 down.

I second this. I have been to plenty of games to notice the players look shite when they are set up negatively. Give them attacking options I.e Fulham last 10 minutes and we look good. It McLeish tactics ruining the players. Anyone can see NZog and Ireland look good together, but he never keeps the same team, **** me we are more than 3 quarters through and he still don't know his first team. The more I hear the more I fear.
How the hell can he know his first team yet ? I mean he is still trying to work out the players positions for **** sake !
Gabby is a centre forward but he regularly starts on the wing
Hesky starts against Arsenal with Weinmann on the bench
Herd started as fullback against Man City ( a team that is guareenteed to attack ) while Warnock was on the bench.
When McDipstick first took over Albrighton spent the first 5-6 games on the bench while Ireland played on the wing. :evil:

I have the first Shogun, but I can't get my head around those Japaneese units. I have Rome TW and expansions and Medieval and expansions. they are great games.I did'nt get Empire TW or Napoleon TW for the steam issue.

I would'nt say you are a poor fan,all you are doing is withdrawing your fininancial support for a while.I bet you will still look up Villa's results and see where they are on the league table. You will also read about them in the newspaper and listen to any news about them on the radio, you might even go to a few games. Aston Villa are a great club and always will be and no matter what happens Aston Villa will remain Aston Villa,its just that you ( and a few thousand ) other supporters do not agree with the way the club is bieng run or managed so you are withdrawing your fininancil support till things change.
